• In this title sequence again there is the use of alternating the words
between being bold and not being bold. Also the words that are bold are
the more important words are in bold.
• In this title sequence the jump flash effect is used when the important
names appear on the screen such as “Brad Pitt” and “Morgan Freeman”
• The music used signifies that what is on the screen is important or that it
is leading up to something important.

• In this opening title sequence all of the titles are bold and all capitals.
• This is because the main focus of this title sequence is not the titles
but the message that is being sent with the photographs behind the
titles.
• The music that is used is very slow, this is used to shock the audience
with the photographs.
• The photographs that is shown signifies that the film is set in the
60’s, they have shown this to the audience because when the film
continues it feels familiar and will make sense to the audience.

• With this title sequence they is a clear pattern, the words alternate
between being bold and not being bold.
• The word that are bold are the more important words, for example
“directed by” is not bold and the name “martin scorses” is in bold.
• The water is constantly showing the audience images. This gives the
audience the feeling that it is leading up to an important moment.
• The music used is quite scary and also makes the audience think that it
is leading up to an important moment.
• The music and the images in the water give out the same message.
