2. Urban Renewal Of Green Investment
As cities across the country continue to age and show signs of deterioration, planning boards and
city councils push for urban renewal projects that, not only updates existing infrastructure and city
amenities, but also sets aside land for cleanup and conversion into parks and greenspace. This wave
of green investment is just the latest turn that urban renewalhas taken since its conception during
the 1940s by master builders such as Robert Moses. However, the various stages that are reflected
in Atlantas own built environment go back further than the 1940s.

Parcels surrounding the springs reportedly sold for fabulous rates, up to a thousand dollars an acre.
Believed to have reached its height in popularity in 1890, the development of electric streetcar lines
had spurred new development interest in an adjacent section of the city, Inman Park. In 1903, over
a decade after the alleged height of the springs, 47 acres surrounding the mineral spring was
purchased by the Ponce de Leon Amusement Company. The amusement company began
construction immediately, re opening the mineral springs as Ponce de Leon Amusement Resort. A
theater was the first constructed element of the resort, followed by a merry go round, casino and
smaller buildings that included scores of modern mechanical games.
Thousands came to enjoy the grand opening of the amusement resort on June 7, 1903 and after just
a year in operation the resort had recorded over a million visits. The amusement resort was accessed
by a majority of Atlantans by streetcar, which ran from the city center along Peachtree Street and
then across Ponce de Leon Avenue. The amusement resort greeted streetcar passengers along a 600
foot platform, which overlooked the resort and offered brilliant sights after sunset. The resorts
developers subsequently opened amusement resorts in Montgomery, Alabama and other cities
across the country.
As the thrills of the Ponce de Leon Amusement resort settled, and crowds began going elsewhere for
leisure and entertainment, the area

4. Do Public Subsidies For Professional Athletic...
Do public subsidies for professional athletic organizations benefit their local community?
Sports teams, or professional athletic organization, are extremely important institutions within a
city or region. They can help connect people with places, and through this loyalty, a sense of civic
pride can be seen. Furthermore, the multi billion dollar industry sports produces effects that can
impact individuals and communities. In recent years dozens of new sports stadiums have been built
throughout the country, with major funding coming from public subsidies. The aim of this paper is
to analyze the positive and negative impacts that come with these subsidies.
The issue at hand, however, is that power has shifted from the cities to the teams themselves.
Professional athletic organizations have started taking advantage of cities by threatening to relocate
unless they get public subsidies for expensive stadium renovations and construction. With this in
mind it is imperative to ask today s question: Do public subsidies for professional athletic
organizations benefit their local community? The way I plan on conducting research is through a
literary analysis, as I am a high school student with very few resources to gather large amounts of
primary data. The types of literature that will be in this paper will include studies, meta analysis,
news articles, and magazine articles. By gathering this information, I will be more equipped to

5. The Role Of Egocentrism In King Lear And The Stone Angel
When we quit thinking primarily about ourselves and our own self preservation, we undergo a
truly heroic transformation Joseph Campbell. Egocentric can be defined as having little or no
regard for interests or attitudes other than one s own. Throughout the novel, The Stone Angel by
Margaret Laurence the use of egocentrism is heavily exampled. As well as the play write King
Lear by William Shakespeare also illustrates the trait of egocentricity. The characters Hagar
Shipley (The Stone Angel) and King Lear (King Lear) both demonstrate slight regard for
opinions other than one s own. When a character abandons egocentricity incorrect assumptions
are no longer made, thus a new perspective will prevail. To begin, both Hagar and Lear express an
egocentric personality. Such as, Hagar and Lear express stubbornness when it comes to other
opinions. Hagar is stubborn towards her father, Jason Currie. During a flashback, Hagar tells her
father that she will marry Bram, It ll be done by me (49). After her father disagrees with the
marriage, Hagar communicates no regard concerning his opinion and marries Bram anyways. As
for King Lear, he as well is stubborn towards Kent. After disowning Cordelia, Kent attempts to give
Lear a wise opinion. Lear... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

interest for herself and not others. On the subject, Lear is self seeking due to his pride. After
Cordelia dents the pride of her father Lear responds with, Come not between the dragon and his

The imprint made on adolescents has a profound impact on the rest of their lives and can be
linked to many struggles people may have. Certainly this was the case with Kerouac and it was
common of the time to lack supportive parents. My aunt was all in accord with my trip out west;
she said it would do me good. (Kerouac 9) This is evident that Kerouac s parents were not
around later in his life to guide him and encourage him. This proves that if Kerouac was raised
with two caring parents he would have had a mucher higher chance of getting a real job and not
dropping out of Columbia University. Had he been more scholastically focused in his youth he
would have had reason to settle down with a family and not galavant all over the country. Older
brother Gerard died at a young age. (Weinrich) We know that as a young boy Kerouac looked up
to his brother who died when they were both young. During difficult times in his adulthood, his
sorrow would worsen as he remembered his late brother. This may have been the case for other
young men of the time to lose siblings, important family members, or have a life changing event

10. Observation Reflection
A few weeks ago our group sat in the Starbucks located on campus for 20 minutes observing
people who sat, stood and walked around. In this time we had four different sets of eyes looking
around and taking notes. The following is a summary of our observations to answer the required
questions. A difficulty we may have encountered if we would have stayed in the same location
longer is people would have noticed. People were extremely busy, but as time went by one girl
did notice there was something odd about our table and began to stare. That would have made it
awkward and caused a distraction of what our goal if more people noticed us. Another difficulty
would be our notes would have been repetitive and it would have been hard focusing. As observers,
constantly seeing the same thing, it would just be too much for us.
During the observation period we conducted as a group, we felt that it would be very easy since
we naturally observe people in our free time. Though through time we felt very creepy and
somewhat stupid just sitting around staring at people and writing notes. Nevertheless, an overall
feeling was that it was interesting sitting. We observed our fellow classmates, Rutgers students and
faculty staff who passed by.
Overall, in the quality and accuracy of our field notes and conclusions, we would be very
confident since we had four different perspectives observing the same location, front, back and
sides of the room. All of us coming up with both similarities in our

11. Rhetorical Devices In The Great Gatsby
Many of the people in the world regard The Great Gatsby by Fitzgerald, one of the greatest
literary classics of all time. However there is always at least one, most the time few and far
between, that disagrees with this statement. H. L. Mencken is one of these persons. After reading
the novel Mencken writes an excerpt to be published in the magazine Evening Sun, after all he is
one of the leading literary critics of his time. In this essay we will discover how Mencken uses
rhetorical devices to portray his thoughts of the novel, The Great Gatsby. First of all, in H. L.
Mencken s Argumentative Analysis, we see how he conveys his tone to show his views of
Fitzgerald s novel, The Great Gatsby. The tone of this analysis is disinterested and unexcitable.
Mencken is disappointed in the novel because it is talked up to be one of the best literary
achievements ever seen. However according to the tone of Menken s analysis, he seems to be
greatly disappointed in the novel that is supposed to be so great. We see this here, ... the plain
fact (is) that it is simply a story that Fitzgerald seems to be far more interested in maintaining its
suspense than in getting under the skins of its people (23 24). Through this we see that Mencken
s tone is conveyed. Mencken is obviously disappointed in the novel, because he simply calls it a
story. If however, Mencken had been impressed with the novel, he may have called it something
more exciting like a page turner or a compelling read .

12. Emily Dickinson s Poem, Because I Could Not Stop For Death
Death is everywhere. From the insect you killed this morning to the family member you lose
recently, there is no force stronger than death. Emily Dickinson, a 19th century writer, indulges that
fact but also goes beyond it in her work. Dickinson revisits the theme of death in her poetry.
Through her work, she shows readers her fascination with deaththe emotions associated with it. In
I heard a Fly buzz when I died and I ve seen a Dying Eye , Dickinson shows us a very intimate
view of a person dying. The poem Because I could not stop for Death shows readers the journey
to eternity after death and The Bustle in a House shows readers what happens to a family after
death. These four poems by Emily Dickinson all share a central theme of death and give readers a
very personal understanding of it. Emily Dickinson was born and educated in Massachusetts. She
only remained in college for one year but still produced volumes of poetry. She was very
introverted and towards the end of her life, she only wore white. Her poetry, as stated by the
Academy of American Poets, reflects her loneliness and the speakers of her poems generally
live in a state of want, but her poems are also marked by the intimate recollection of inspirational
moments which are decidedly life giving and suggest the possibility of happiness ( Emily
Dickinson. ). However, her works were never published while she was alive. After her death her
family found 800 poems or 40 hand bound volumes ( Emily

region s plants and animals. Cronon states, The shift from Indian to European dominance in New

Europeans had such high aspirations of New England that they couldn t comprehend the fact that

In many water poor countries such as India and countries in the Middle East, influential water
companies such as Nestle go in and take water from these areas to sell. This is also an issue that
is taking place right in our backyard. The city of Sacramento, California is in its fourth year of a
record drought yet Nestle is still selfishly draining underground aquifers from the area without
paying for it, only to sell it back to the same people to gain profit.
These are the injustices that are happening all over the world and we need to prevent these
companies from taking advantage of us and our water supplies just to fatten their pockets. We
need to project our political voices and let these companies know that these behaviors will not be
tolerated. Among the people who are raising their political voices against water ownership is

21. Column Chromatography
The principle of this experiment is to understand the basic functions of hemoglobin, vitamin B 12
and to learn different types of column chromatography. The experiment is conducted through Size
Exclusion Chromatology also known as gel filtration chromatography, which is the isolation of
molecules based on their size. Hemoglobin function is to carry oxygen through the body, it can be
found in red bloodcells, and it is responsible for red color in blood. A proteininside red blood cells
that carries oxygen from the lungs to tissues and organs in the body and carries carbon dioxide
back to the lungs. (1). Vitamin B 12 or cobalamin is a vital vitamin in the formation of red blood
cells. A nutrient in the vitamin B complex that the body needs in small amounts to function and
stay healthy. Vitamin B12 helps make red blood cells, DNA, RNA, energy, and tissues, and keeps
nerve cells healthy. It is found in liver, meat, eggs, poultry, shellfish, milk, and milk products, (2).

22. Why Do You Want To Be A Dog Trainer
Are you in the market for a dog trainer? Do you want your dog to learn from a top notch certified
dog trainer? You may have dreams of seeing your dog in professional dog competitions and shows.
Therefore, you need to have your dog trained by a certified dog trainer to ensure the best results.
Why should you hire a certified dog trainer instead of a basic dog trainer? A certified dog trainer
is one that takes their dog training career seriously enough to become certified. You can feel
comfortable in the fact that they have met high dog training standards and passed certification
exams and tests. You don t want a fly by night dog trainer, but a certified dog trainer that is in it for
the long haul.

or by a universal certification? Find out what the requirements are for their certified dog trainers.
Only then can you determine if their dog trainers will supply the skill level and experience you

23. Addiction And Drug Abuse
Many aspects contribute to an individual s ability to resist drug use and most importantly
addiction, significantly fueling the debate whether it is nature or nurture that is the primary
consideration in understanding addiction (Crofton, Zhang, Green, 2015). Addiction is a disease
based on the ability of drugs and their use to alter a person s brain and behavior whereby they
compulsively seek drugs despite any other associated risk (Stanis Andersen, 2014). Drug use is
thought to alter the brain s dopamine surges where receptors for dopamine are reduced (Stanis
Andersen, 2014). However, despite substantial research that supports addictionas a disease,
controversy exists in that it is usually the individual who initially chooses to use drugs. Numerous
observers support that is this primary voluntary choice that makes it difficult for some to see
drugs addicts as anything other than criminal. Otherwise, drug use would probably be legal, and
there would be few drug crimes. Focusing on resilience may be a consideration that could find
support over a broader spectrum of beliefs. Resilience will be discussed.
Genetics and environmental factors play an import role in deterring a person s vulnerability to
addiction (Crofton, Zhang, Green, 2015). Understanding resistance thereby swaying the potential
choice that leads to the chronic disease of addiction would perhaps benefit society the more than
new laws and new prisons. Moreover, understanding environmental enrichment

This concurs with our results, the incidence of acute appendicitis were more in males than
females (68% vs 32%) with a ratio of 2.13:1. But other investigators, documented different results

affordable, noninvasive tool whose results can be obtained more quickly than for C T scans
[Incesu et al., 1997]. Many studies proved that, ultrasound has a high sensitivity ranged from
55% to 98% and specificity ranged from 50% to 100%, PPV ranged from 80.48% to 97.4, NPV
ranged from 19.51% to 89.19% and accuracy ranged from 70.91% to 81%.. These results
emphasize that appositive ultrasonographic findings for appendicitis is strongly in favor of a
diagnosis of acute appendicitis. However a negative ultrasound findings is not sufficient to rule
out the diagnosis and discharge the patient [Singh et al., 2014; Incesu et al., 1997; Flum et al.,
2002; Nasiri et al., 2012]. But in our study, ultrasound sensitivity= 60%, specificity= 0%, PPV=
70.59%, NPV= 0% and accuracy= 30%, comparing our results with the previous results reveals that
the ultrasound provides less reliable findings for the diagnosis of acute appendicitis in our study.

technique and the results vary depending on how is performing

that working as a high school counselor definitely doesn t seem like it d be the easiest job in the
world. High school is a very tough time in a teen s life. It s all focused on preparing you for the
outside world and if we didn t have people like Mr. Campbell, students wouldn t have as much
motivation as they do to do well and graduate. I also chose to interview him simply because I

this field was chosen and to describe his current job. He started off by explaining what he does as a

making sure students pick the right classes. Career, which is helping students pick a career

28. Before the Melting Pot by Israel Zangwill
A lot of what we read today about out history, is told to us through wartime victories and
tragedies, slavery, and political power. The book, Before the Melting Pot gives a great account of
how much ethnicity factored into these ideas and how New York City was made into the melting
pot of culture we see today. The book starts out in New Amsterdam, detailing the importance of The
Dutch West India Company and its importance in trade; including the African slave trade. The
citizens of New Amsterdam had little to no say in governmental decisions. At times, there were
citizen advisory boards created, and a director general that made decisions, but for the most part
even these issues were at the mercy of the Dutch West India Company s control. More specifically,
the commander and ruler named Peter Stuyvesant was the director general that made all the Dutch
West India Company s decisions in New Netherland, until the English took over power. The book
goes into detail about the people over the courses of their lives, more specifically, three different
generations of men starting with those present at the English acquisition of New Netherland in
1664, the sons of these men who stayed in New York City, and then their grandchildren. She also
discusses the French, the Jews; Dutchmen already present there, Africans, and Englishmen. The
Dutch had little to no trouble getting along because the culture was already established there, and

29. The Mission And Mission Of The Church s Global Outreach
Mission refers to an individual or group of people being sent out to complete a specific task or
purpose, such as ministering to those who lack the knowledge of Christ. Culbertson and Gailey
define missions as the attempt to fulfill God s call to make disciples of all people (Culbertson
224). In Discovering Missions, Culbertson and Gailey speak on the countless aspects of missions
and the importance of global mission. The term missionmeans sending out or assigned task
(Culbertson 9). Missiology is a reflection upon the practice of Christian mission (Culbertson 9).
The difference between mission and missions is that mission is simply a response to God s calling
and the term missions are referring to specific ways and organizational structures in which the
Church s global outreach is carried out (Culbertson 11). The ultimate mission is discipleship. A
strong foundation is required to accept such a calling and to be effective in it.
If God s people today want to be covenant partakers, they must view global mission as something
more than optional or tangential (Culbertson 35). Not everyone is called to do global mission. In
other words, not everyone has the foundation required to answer to such a calling. In accepting a
call to missionary work, one must put themselves aside for the sake of others. The ultimate
mission is discipleship. The church is to reach people and win souls. Through winning souls, the
believers are to be built up and equipped for the work of

The twenty first century fills itself with fast improving technology that alters people s lives. The
world adapts to technology as a normal way of life and without it, people are considered out of
this touch or unknown. Society has become too reliant on their smartphones, televisions, and video
games that they seem to be delusional about the world around them and tend to go outside less and
stay inside more hiding themselves from humanity. Statistics say that technology keeps friends,
family, and co workers in touch, but it does not keep them in touch with nature. Today, civilians

greater good, yet what all of these new advancements do is... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

The sheer popularity of stimulating nature or using nature as ad space demands that we
acknowledge, even respect, their cultural importance, suggests Richtel. Culturally important, yes.
But the logical extension of synthetic nature is the irrelevance of true nature the certainty that it
s not even worth looking at. (Louv lines 9 19) The text illustrates how today, advertisers only
value their financial opportunities rather than the significance of the environment. Major
companies place billboards, street signs, and bench ads to reach out to a fraction of the
population that is on the road. Not only are the ads a disturbance to the drivers, but the
businesses do not pay the least attention to the environment and only consider the economic
improvements and money they will receive. Yes, ads are essential to improve the consumer rate
for a company, but it is not needed to destroy a part of nature or to violate a child s view from the
car window to get a company s point across. Technology may be there to create a cure for cancer
or to build better lives for the poor, but look at what technology is doing to the minds of children,
teens, and adults. Can people see their shifts in behaviors or the differences in how they talk and
communicate with one another? Can people see their children suffering or see teenagers

Peace was brought to Egypt during his reign as the worship of Amon, the Egyptians universal god,
abandoned under Akhenaton, was restored and Thebes, the city sacred to Amon, was again made
Egypt s capital. King Tut was not really an important pharaoh, but he is well known today because
of his intact tomb and the fabulous treasures found within.
King Tut s tomb contained many beautiful and elaborate pieces of artwork. Artwork varying
from wood sculptures, gold statues, wall paintings, writing utensils, intricate pieces of jewelry,
busts of the king s head, and many more were all discovered in his tomb. The sculptures
illustrate how Egyptian sculptors represent the realistically poses and statures of the human body.
Detail is another factor that is seen in all the artwork, whether it be a painted eye, a perfectly
carved beetle (scarab), or the placement of different colored jewels in a necklace. I am astounded
at how many items were found and how each one is entirely different from the next. It s amazing to

artwork.
One piece that stands out of all the treasures in King Tut s tomb is the bust of his head that is

Both A Pair of Silk Stockings and The Story of an Hour by Kate Chopin, were written from a
third person point of view, making the story less subjective and more objective. As a result the
reader is unable to put him or herself into the story. The narrative structures of A Pair of Silk

completely different. There is one similarity that sticks out, both protagonists are selfish. There is
really strong symbolism and imagery in both stories which puts the reader inside the story. The
narrativestructure of Chopin s A Pair of Silk Stockings indicates that the story takes place in a big
city, most likely New York or somewhere similar. This can be assumed because Mrs. Sommers

With the global market becoming more connected and competitive, the United States supply chain
needs to constantly evolve to survive. Advancing technology and E Commerce allow customers to
order products from literally anywhere in the world, resulting in a sudden emergence of strong
global competition. To compete America needs to be able to provide the same goods faster and
more efficient that their competitors. However many improvements in every branch of the
American transportation supply chain including infrastructure and logistics need to be made in to
achieve this. One practice that is becoming more essential to compete in the growing global market
is intermodal freight transportation. Before the history and evolution of intermodal freight
transportation can be discussed it must first be defined. One article defines intermodal freight
transportation as the use of two or more modes to move a shipment from origin to destination
(Dewitt and Clinger, n.d., p. 1). A prime example of intermodal freight transportation in America is
transfer of trailers and containers from container ships to either trains or trucks. Goods are then
typically transferred to trucks for the final delivery door to door. Intermodal transport is not only
trailer and container traffic, but also bulk goods like grain, building products, and coal (Dewitt and

37. Legal System Discrimination
Discrimination in The Legal System
Discrimination is, and always will, be a part of society. The color of a person s skin is the biggest
discriminating factor that society has ever known. Black people were discriminated in every
aspect of their lives. Their children were taught that they were inferior to the white man. Blacks
and whites were barely allowed to breath the same air. Some would even turn their nose up at the
thought of it. This discriminating behavior was very popular in the south. Justice for black people in
the legal system was unfair until the 1950s, when the Supreme Court gave blacks hope by striking
down segregation and discrimination laws; however, desegregation would not come about until the
1960s.

vast amount of material. A person with no knowledge of the Bible could absorb a wealth of sacred
information. Jesus Christ and Paul the Apostle covered a great amount of material in the New
Testament. Throughout this paper, I discuss the life of JesusChrist and the life of Paul the Apostle
and their extraordinary missions they accomplished that led to faith in Christianity.
The Life of Jesus Christ Jesus Christ had a remarkable life with a mission to spread the good word
of God. A few of Jesus apostles wrote historical gospels of Jesus life; some of this information
includes His beginning, His teaching, His sacrifice, and His resurrection.
In the Beginning
The Bible contains scripture and prophecy of Jesus before and after His birth. In the beginning,
some of historical topics included His genealogy, His learning, His baptism, His test, and His
declaration as the Messiah. Jesus birth
Virgin Mary conceived the Son of God by the Holy Spirit while engaged to Joseph the son of
David. An angle came to Joseph and explained Mary s conception through the Holy Spirit; and
told him to take Mary as his wife, and he must name the baby boy Jesus. The prophecy of Jesus
virgin birth was in the New International Version, Isaiah 7:14, the virgin will conceive and give
birth to a son and in Luke 4:21 this prophesy fulfilled. Prophecy was foretold in Micah 5:2, of Jesus

Mark Hamill is a cult star because of whom he played in Star Wars. By playing Luke Skywalker
he made his career but at the same time ruined it because everyone knew who he was and he was
known worldwide but not the actor he is. Instead of gaining his own identity of Mark Hamill,
the actor, he was tied to the identity Luke Skywalker for a few different reasons such as facial
scars and not having many other on screen roles compared to his co stars. This directly impacted
him in a few roles because people didn t want Luke Skywalker in their film. He is a cult star
because he has a loyal fan base for both Star Wars and the Animated BatmanSeries as the voice of

44. Academy Ratio Essay
With the original motion picture format, each frame as tall as four perforations with an aspect
ration totaling 1.375:1. It was originally designed by Thomas Edison and was used for years by
film companies. When sound became common in movies, the image ratio was changed to 0.860
inches by 0.820 inches.
The History of Academy Film
Originally, silent films used a 1.33 aspect ratio. This meant that every frame had negative space
accounting for four perforations. The frame line was extremely thin, so this had to be changed to
account for the soundtrack. In the 1920s, studios created a stripe next to one of the perforations for
sound recordings. Meanwhile, the image was cut to 1.19, which made it appear taller. For
audiences who were used to the previous films, the new size was disorienting. More importantly,
exhibitors had problems using the new frame with their screens and projectors.
To keep up with the changes, each studio changed their ratio to different levels. These conflicting
changes were unique to each movie theater change and created problems for theater owners.
Finally, the major studios met in November of 1929 to figure out a solution. They decided to
create a set size of 0.800 inches by 0.600 inches for an aspect ratio of 1.33:1.

45. A Comparison Of David Hockney And Christopher Isherwood
There are people today, who never realize just how much of a blessing Los Angeles is. This, City
of Angels , is like paradise with its warm sunlight on individuals who each have their own story.
People in this city usually do not have anything to hide, due to affecting and inspiring one another,
such as homosexuals. Other cities in the past, such as London, despised the thought of two people,
of the same sex, engaging in an intimate relationship. Los Angeles however, could not have
appeared any more of a haven to two gayBritish men, David Hockney and Christopher Isherwood,
due to its standard of living, how the people there had a particular set of beliefs and attitudes, and
the gay scene being different than that of London.
Before Los Angeles, before their successful careers, David Hockney and Christopher Isherwood
were both just two boys from England. Christopher Isherwood, who was born in the year 1904
roughly thirty years before David Hockney was born was a privileged young boy as he was
related to a country squire. Even though he was privileged, Christopher s family was incomplete
due to his distant parents. With his parents being distant, and having to be sent to boarding school
at age 8, it created a sense of loneliness for Christopher. Luckily, Christopher formed friendships
over the years to fill the void; a couple of his friends being Wynstan Auden and Edward Upward.

46. Radar The Proliferation Of Location Based Services Essay
Abstract The proliferation of Location Based Services
(LBSs) and Geo Social Networks (GSNs) significantly increase the exposure risks of location
information leading to leakage of sensitive information. Location privacy preserving methods
are designed to provide a specified level of privacy based on some pre defined privacy
guarantees such as k anonymity and e differential privacy. In certain situations, we note that users
would need different privacy protection levels based on their relationships and trust associated
with the users of the exposed location data. For instance, users of a location based social network
may need a smaller privacy protection level in interaction with their close friends and a larger
privacy protection level in relationship with public users. In this paper, we present a privacy aware
access control model that provides different location privacy protection levels based on various
access control list of users. The proposed privacy preserving access control model not only
preserves the confidentiality of access control policy but also provides an efficient mechanism for
grant and revoke of authorizations.

47. Cell Structures Under Different Magnifications Essay
Title: Cell Structures under different magnifications
Abstract
As per the cell hypothesis, the cell is the essential natural unit, the structure having the attributes of
life. The principle target is to watch different cases of protected plant and animal cells to recognize
contrasts between the two cell sorts and to distinguish regular organelles unmistakable in these
examples. Cells can be characterized by sort, for example, prokaryotic or eukaryotic or plant or
creature cells. These sorts have particular, identifiable contrasts that adjust the capacities and
abilities of the cells. While plant and animal cells are both cases of a eukaryotic cell, there are
contrasts that you ought to have the capacity to see in lab. The cell structures when viewed under
different power of magnification, depicts different clarity of organelles.
Introduction
The assorted qualities of structure and capacity in the cell world parallel the differences of species
in the biosphere. Numerous plant and creature cells are steadfastly altered as a major aspect of
multicellular tissues (Pruitt, 2002). The morphology of tissue cells is very associated with their
capacity (Alberts, 2002). Notwithstanding basic and hierarchical contrasts, varieties in cell measure
likewise add to the differing qualities of cell sorts, as far as possible (Bregman Bregman, 1990). The

48. The Radical Social Nationalist Party
In conjunction with the primary leadership of the Ba ath party, the Syrian Social Nationalist Party
(SSNP) was another political institution that relied heavily on Marxist ideology imported through
the French mandate into the Syrian elite classes. The arrival of the SSNP during the early 1930s
provided a backdrop the Marxist influence of Ba ath party officials that had transposed Marxist
ideologyinto the nationalist movement. The founder of the SSNP, Atun Sa adeh, was a leading
figure in the nationalist movement to transform Syriainto socialist nation, which was primarily
based on the foundation of European education that the French had imposed as part of their colonial
policies under the mandate. Sa adeh s own socialist rhetoric was a powerful force, alongside Ba ath
party officials, to transform the country into a socialist nation within the context of a truly
nationalist movement:
Ever since the hour in which our social national ideology began to bring together thoughts and
feelings, to unite forces of youth threatened with dispersion by the political and national chaos that
blanket our country, and to transform this into a new system (nizam) with new methods, deriving
its life from the new nationalism, namely the system of the Syrian Social Nationalist party.
During the French mandate, the resistance to French occupation was a blend of local governing
ideology in the use of Nizam (meaning system in Arabic) as an Arabic interpretation of European
socialism. For

How does heart rate change with exercise?

51. The Kneeling Protest
Is the Kneeling Protest Needed or Disrespectful Professional athletes protesting the National
Anthem has sparked controversy among American citizens causing a massive debate as to whether
or not this protest is a disrespectful protest or a protest that is greatly needed in America. In my
eyes, NFL players protesting the National Anthem is needed as the unity and equality that the
National Anthem stands for is nonexistent. I stand with the NFL players protesting the National
Anthem and I will tell you why. Colin Kaepernick, the NFL player who started to kneel, is
protesting the National Anthem because he believes that the police brutalityhere in America is
unconstitutional and I agree with him. Police officers are brutally murdering unarmed African
Americans without due process. These police officers aren t providing these now dead men and
women any chance to prove themselves innocent in a court. Amendment 14 which states Equal
protection under the law is being completely violated by police officers yet no one is doing
anything to stop them. Between 2005 to April 2017, CNN states that only 80 officers were
convicted for murder or manslaughter, yet an estimated amount of 1000 police shootings occur
yearly here in the United States. This means for every 150 police shootings, 1 police officerwas
convicted of murder. The 150 to 1 ratio is just way too high and calls for a change. Chris Rock, an
