About NOSTOS 2017 (An Alumni Meet)
The Alumni meet - ‘Nostos’, is held to bring together the vast alumni of the TISS MHA course.
‘Nostos’ is an opportunity to reminiscence experiences that shaped the professional persona
of past students into whom he or she is today.
There are numerous valuable insights into the industry which the alumni gives us, preparing
our current students to develop their skills and engaging successfully with future institutions
they will be a part of. Providing a scope to also talk about the future, this meet ensures

About CLAIRVOYANCE ( The Healthcare Conference)
Clairvoyance is the Annual National Conference of School of Health System Studies (SHSS) of
Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai. The aim of Clairvoyance conference has been to
sketch out a clear vision for the emerging healthcare sector in India. Every year the events
are designed around a specific theme which addresses the pertinent issues in the transitional
healthcare system of India. During the conference, we envisage discussing various ideas and
innovative ways of promoting healthcare through the multi-sectoral approach and develop
key take-home messages.
It is a step towards forging new dialogues with various stakeholders of the healthcare
community. It is a perfect opportunity where thought leaders and scholars in the field of
health and healthcare come together to discuss the challenges in the fast-evolving healthcare
setting.
Each student takes up a ‘Research Project’ that he/she would work on for two years during the course
under the guidance of school faculty and industry experts. The student either explores & analyses a new
trend in healthcare or works on an area affecting hospital functioning. Data collection from hospitals and
