There are many good reasons to want to explore your talents but it's going to take a little work.
One good thing to think about was what your childhood was like. What did you do a lot as a kid? What did you enjoy? What were you known for? Sometimes this can reveal some of your deepest talents and certainly will reveal interests that can be probed further. Think about your hobbies as your personality is made by them they are the things you do regularly and your hidden talent is that which you can do better than everyone so focus on your hobbies and how you do them every single step.
• Another thing you can think about are the times in your life that you've been challenged. Think about the tough situations that you've had to deal with. Times of trial can often reveal your hidden skills. For example, when your dad had a heart attack, maybe you kept your head and called 911. Staying alert and calm in an emergency is a really useful talent.

Lucid Dreaming: Understanding the Risks and Benefits
The ability to control one's dreams or for the dreamer to be aware that he or she is dreaming. This process, called lucid dreaming, has some potential risks as well as many fascinating benefits. However, many people are hesitant to try it initially for fear of the potential dangers. This article aims to clarify these concerns by exploring both the risks and benefits of lucid dreaming.
The Benefits of Lucid Dreaming
Lucid dreaming allows a person to take control of their dream world, helping them overcome their fears and eliminate nightmares. This technique is particularly useful for mental health. By taking control of their dreams, individuals can face challenging scenarios in a controlled environment, which can help reduce anxiety and increase self-confidence.
Addressing Common Concerns
Physical Harm in Dreams Lucid dreaming is fundamentally safe. In a lucid dream, everything is a creation of your mind. Therefore, nothing in the dream can physically harm you. Despite the vividness and realness of the dream experience, it remains entirely within your mental landscape, posing no physical danger.
Mental Health Risks Concerns about developing PTSD or other mental illnesses from lucid dreaming are unfounded. As soon as you wake up, it's clear that the events experienced in the dream were not real. On the contrary, lucid dreaming is often seen as a therapeutic tool for conditions like PTSD, as it allows individuals to reframe and manage their thoughts.
Potential Risks of Lucid Dreaming
While generally safe, lucid dreaming does come with a few risks as well:
Mixing Dream Memories with Reality Long-term lucid dreamers might occasionally confuse dream memories with real ones, creating false memories. This issue is rare and preventable by maintaining a dream journal and avoiding lucid dreaming about real-life people or places too frequently.
Escapism Using lucid dreaming to escape reality can be problematic if it interferes with your daily life. While it is sometimes beneficial to escape and relieve the stress of reality, relying on lucid dreaming for happiness can hinder personal growth and productivity.
Feeling Tired After Lucid Dreaming Some people report feeling tired after lucid dreaming. This tiredness is not due to the dreams themselves but often results from not getting enough sleep or using techniques that disrupt sleep patterns. Taking breaks and ensuring adequate sleep can prevent this.
Mental Exhaustion Lucid dreaming can be mentally taxing if practiced excessively without breaks. It’s important to balance lucid dreaming with regular sleep to avoid mental fatigue.
Lucid dreaming is safe and beneficial if done with caution. It has many benefits, such as overcoming fear and improving mental health, and minimal risks. There are many resources and tutorials available for those interested in trying it.

This lecture created by Brandon Taylorian (aka Cometan) specially for the CESNUR Conference held Bordeaux in June 2024 provides a brief introduction to the legacy of religious and philosophical thought that Astronism emerges from, namely the discourse on transcension started assuredly by the Cosmists in Russia in the mid-to-late nineteenth century and then carried on and developed by Mordecai Nessyahu in Cosmodeism in the twentieth century. Cometan also then provides some detail on his story in founding Astronism in the early twenty-first century from 2013 along with details on the central Astronist doctrine of transcension. Finally, the lecture concludes with some contributions made by space religions and space philosophy and their influences on various cultural facets in art, literature and film.

Tired of being bored
- 1. Tired of Being Bored? You can’t always rely on your parents, teachers, and friends to make your life fun for you. You need to look for ways to get out of the rut of boredom yourself! There are plenty of things to do—hobbies you can take on, skills to learn, projects to do—with a little planning. There may be times as you grow up when you feel bored. When that happens, there’s the temptation to wait around for someone else to come up with great ideas of how you can make that time more interesting and exciting. It takes self-motivation to get out of the “I’m bored” cycle, and that comes by taking responsibility for yourself. Boredom is an easy excuse to use if you’re not feeling satisfied or happy. Before labeling life or activities as boring, you should ask yourself what effort you’re making to find something to do. Are you sitting around waiting for someone to come up with a plan you’ll like? Or are you taking action yourself, and thinking of constructive activities that not only you can do, but that your friends might enjoy as well? That’s taking initiative! But think about it for a minute: You’re growing up, and with age comes the responsibility of taking care of yourself. You need to start learning to wisely manage your own time.

Copyright © 2016 by The Family International Sit down and make a list of all the things that you like to do or would like to try. Don’t be limited by what you think you’ll never be able to do. When you’ve made your list of activities and projects you’d like to try, show your list to your parents to see if there are any on there that you could start working on right away. You may not be able to get around to everything on your list, but within reason, you’ll find that there are many new and different activities and projects you can do. Look for ways to fill those “boring” moments, and you’ll soon find those “boring” moments are few and far between! You’d be surprised at how exciting and fulfilling your days can become when you fill them with new interests, plan new projects, and choose not to settle for being bored ever again!
