This document recommends starting the day by praising Jesus for blessings like a good night's rest, a home, and loving family. It notes that taking time to thank Jesus reveals much to be grateful for and fills one's heart with joy. Praising God gets the day off to a right start by filling one with contentment.

1. I can start my day off right by taking time with
Jesus. I can praise Him for the night that has
passed, for the warmth of my bed, and the roof
over my head. I can thank Jesus for the home
I live in, for my loving and caring parents, and
for my family.
When I thank Jesus, I find that there are many
things to be grateful for, and this fills my heart
with joy. I am honoring God with my praises1

Praising God gets my day off to the right start.
