 linking comments to an LO. 
 Assessments collected in alphabetical order and mark slips 
glued in by students.

3. Ensuring marking is purposeful: 
 general feedback at start of following lesson (linked to the 
LO), 
 followed by 'purple pen' time - which could include 'own 
starting point' intervention 'Act' tasks.
HL Feedback 
Horse Whisperer Responses 
Good interpretation 
Secure use of quotations – 
sometimes embedded. 
MUST focus explicitly on poet’s 
intentions and reader reaction.
DO NOW: review your marked work. 
Collect a purple pen: 
 Respond to any questions – develop longer 
responses. 
 Do any ACT tasks. 
 Use dictionaries to do any spelling corrections. 
 Correct marked punctuation errors. 
 You may need to collect an intervention 
worksheet to complete.

  • 6. DO NOW: review your marked work. Collect a purple pen:  Respond to any questions – develop longer responses.  Do any ACT tasks.  Use dictionaries to do any spelling corrections.  Correct marked punctuation errors.  You may need to collect an intervention worksheet to complete.
