The denotations of this image is a skyline of a city going from
dawn to dusk. This photo shows the story of an ordinary city going
through it’s everyday life. This photo captures the beauty of the
city as the day goes by, as it shows the morning sky with the soft
gradient of colours and then shows the process of it transforming
and the colours becoming sharper and darker as the day goes by.
Furthermore, as the day is ending the colours go softer once
again.

7. The denotations of this image is a candle that has just been
blown out and the smoke is flowing away from the wick.
Within the smoke, all of the particles can be notices as the
photographer has zoomed into the photo; also it is a
spectacular HD photograph. Furthermore, the wick of the
candle is a little bit blurry as it is in the foreground, but the
actual smoke is in focus due to it being the main aspect of
the photo. This photo could connote that everything is made
up of other little things (that somethings sometimes have a
deeper meaning) that can’t be seen with just the naked eye
because when you witness smoke from a candle, all of the
minuscule particles cannot be viewed like this photo
portrays.

8. Slow motion – quick shot
This photo denotes a bubble getting popped in slow
motion. This photo is the process of a bubble
getting popped and each stage that it goes through.
As the bubble is getting popped, you can witness the
remnants of it still in the bubble shape, however it
has expanded a little outwards. Also, you can see
how fragile the bubble is, this is because the person
who popped it, their finger barely even touches the
bubble when it quickly disappears. This photo could
connote that things may not look fragile but they
actually are and when you break it, it can't be
undone as the bubble cannot be resurrected.

9. Quick shot
The denotations of this photo is somebody who is standing
there with wings made from a sparkler. This photo looks quite
magical because of the perfect timing and the person looks
like an angel of some sort. This could connote that everybody
has wings and everyone has the chance to be free, they just
need to know how to do that.

This photo denotes a watermelon being
destroyed in mid-air. This photo makes it
look like the light is coming out of the
watermelon, making it look magical and
mythical.

11. For this photo, I did a low angle looking
up at the tree and I also had the flash
on to make it look dramatic. The low
angle makes the tree seem like it’s
looming over everything that is stood
below it. Furthermore, I went onto
Photoshop and edited the picture and
made it more enhances and darkened
it a little to make the flash more
prominent. Moreover, I took away the
cloudiness of the background in the
photo. Finally, I flipped the photo to
just mess around with it and to see
how it would look. The final product of
this photo makes it look quite sinister
due to the contrast of the dark colours
and the bright flash at the bottom of
the tree.
This photo connotes time because of
the growing aspect of the tree as it
would have taken years for it to be as
tall as it now.

12. With this photo, I did a close up to make
sure that I get as much detail as I needed.
Afterwards, I went onto Photoshop and
then made it black and white, but also tried
to brighten the whiteness of the flower so
the raindrops look more prominent and the
white of it stands out more to the rest of
the photo.

13. With this photo, I was crouched down
and took a photo whilst angling the
camera a little upwards. I went onto
Photoshop and then brightened and
enhanced the photo to show all of the
elements of the clearing. The sun has
appeared through the trees more and
it makes the photo look happier. Also,
the photo has been flipped so it’s on
the opposite side.

14. With this photo, I had to
have people dropping water
balloons from the balcony
and put the shutter speed
on, so I could capture the
balloon popping and the
water going everywhere. I
then went onto Photoshop
and enhanced the photo to
make the colours stand out
and so the brick wall could
be seen in the reflection of
the water.
