2. How time consuming was it?
> Overall, our thriller opening didn't take us long to film. We started
filming about 11 and finished about 5, this is because we was prepared
and looked at our story board to help us remember what we was going
to shoot. However it took us 6 hours because sometimes we didn't stick
to the story board and created different shots. Also we took the advice
of filming more than we needed to, this paid off whilst editing.
> We also had a break about half way through filming, we only went on a
break for about an hour so it wasn't too bad. It was a success to get
everything filmed in on day, however it was cold outside but it was
worth it.
> I also spent nearly an hour tied to a tree so that was fun! But never the
less we managed to meet the deadline.
3. What equipment was used?
> We booked out one of the DLSR cameras to film with, we also booked
out a tripod to get some steady shots.
> We used the tripod for the opening scene, when the camera starts out
zoomed in and then it zooms out to show the runner and turns into an
establishing shot. Whilst Niamh held the camera on the tripod, I used
the lense to help to get a steady zoom out.
> Rae (the runner) held the camera when she was walking towards Iyra to
give the point of view effect.
> We also used the tripod for when there is a long shot of the runner
running down the long path. Yet again Niamh held the camera steady
on the tripod whilst I panned the camera across to make it look like it
was following the runner.
