1. Thursday’s ASSURE
A- Twenty first graders, which includes, 10 Caucasian, 5 African Americans,
and 5 Asians with no learning specialties.
S- All of my first grade students will be able to correctly add up amounts of
money through real life scenarios and count up different coin amounts by
playing a game in groups as well as working on their own piece of art about
money, with 100% accuracy by the end of the day on Thursday.
S- We will be using a game on a poster, along with coins, and other media, such
as a Photoshop, for collaborated pictures.
U- Students will be playing a game with coins in groups as well was looking at
a money poster, then they will create a drawing about money and something
that they had learned throughout the week.
R- Students will be in groups and will have to collaborate with their teammates
to correctly come up with the amount placed on the register. They will have to
tap into their creative side and draw or paint something about money.
E- Students will be evaluated during the game by answering the questions as
quickly as possible, and in turn I will be able to tell that they are mastering the
concepts.
