Wednesday- Oral Blending
 A- Total of 21 students, 11 girls and 10 boys. All of which speak English as their primary language
and none of them have any disabilities.
 S- Students will practice oral blending through singing “Old McDonald Had a Box”, playing the
game “Guess It”, I will also introduce my Pinterest account to the parents where they can access
the different activities we have done in class, and I will hang up the poster that I created in
photoshop for my students to be able to use on a daily basis.
Guess It! Where you orally segment the name on an animal and have children guess the
animals identity. Example:
Teacher: I'm thinking of an animal. /p/...ig. What am I thinking of?
Children: A pig!
This class will have mastered oral blending through the various lessons provided with 80%
accuracy by the end of the week.
 S- Visual and auditory learners can be represented here.
 U- Poster, game “Guess it”, song, photoshop, and pinterest.
 R- All students will sing the song and play the game. Once finished and if they have participated
they will receive a sticker for their folders.
 E- During the game Guess It, I will be able to assess each of my students based on their oral
blending. After my assessment I will know whether I need to continue the lesson or if they have
mastered this task.

Oral Blending Lesson with Songs, Games and Assessments
