Germany, France, and the Netherlands are three permanent members of Europe. Germany is located in west-central Europe and has the largest economy in Europe. France has the second largest economy in Europe and is a leading agricultural producer. The Netherlands has a prosperous, market-based economy that depends heavily on foreign trade and is home to large multinational companies like Royal Dutch Shell and Philips.
