1. Three Paragraph Essay Outline
Crafting an essay on the "Three Paragraph Essay Outline" may initially seem like a
straightforward task, given the seemingly narrow focus. However, delving into this topic reveals
its inherent challenges. The first hurdle is striking the right balance between conciseness and
depth. With only three paragraphs, each sentence must carry significant weight, making every
word choice crucial. Additionally, one must navigate the challenge of ensuring a seamless flow
between the introduction, body, and conclusion, despite the limited space. The second challenge
lies in capturing the essence of the outline itself. It requires a deep understanding of essay
structuring, making it challenging for those unfamiliar with the intricacies of constructing a well-
organized essay. Lastly, the essay must offer valuable insights within this constrained
framework, demanding a nuanced approach to ensure meaningful content that goes beyond mere
summarization.
In conclusion, composing an essay on the "Three Paragraph Essay Outline" is deceptively
challenging. Despite the apparent simplicity of the topic, the writer must navigate the
complexities of concise expression, structural finesse, and substantive content. Achieving this
delicate balance is not only demanding but also requires a keen understanding of essay
construction principles. For those seeking assistance or expertise in tackling such writing
challenges, various resources, including professional writing services, can offer valuable support.

2. The Struggle for Human and Labor Rights in Guatemala
Essay
In a time where the United States was guarding against the spread of Communism to
Latin America, the workers of Guatemala faced a difficult time organizing to demand
benefits and rights from their employers. Among others that struggled to form
organized labor through the various repressive governments, the union at the Coca
Cola Bottling Plant in the capital city was one of the most successful. This success
can be attributed to the favorable rulings of Guatemalan labor courts, the tenacity of
the union s members, international support and the cooperation of the transnational
corporation of Coca Cola, headquartered in the United States. Embotelladora
Guatemalteca S.A. (EGSA), the Coca Cola franchise in Guatemala City, was filled

This however, did not stop the President of the company, Texan John Trotter, from
sending Boche Morales home after he heard about the union. Indignity from this
action immediately drew 167 more signatories to the pliego, 80% of the work
force, in the next ten days (Frundt 5). The workers created a large single union
between the plant workers and post mix workers (including the drivers) which
made them stronger in the face of management. The management, in an attempt to
instill divisiveness, tried to convince the workers that they would negotiate wage
increases and other protections as long as they did not unionize. The workers
knew there would be no guarantees and rejected this offer. With the help of Marta
Torres of the Confederacion Nacional de Trabadores, they were able to get manager
Armando Fong sent to jail for five days with a $500 fine for dismissing Boche
Morales because of his part in organizing the union. Again management tried to
appease leaders of the workers by offering them $15,000 each and residence in the
United States to stop organizing. When they refused, the management threatened the
lives of all the union members. Israel Marquez, a union leader, recalled the early
attempts at forming a union, We continued to receive all sorts of threats and
harassment. Trotter personally threatened me, saying, The army is going to get you.

3. Analysis of Leda and the Swan Essay
Analysis of Leda and the Swan. Greek mythology. Analysis of Leda and the Swan.
Greek mythology has, throughout history, been the subject of much debate and
interpretation. Conjuring up images of bloody battles and crumbling cities, its
descriptions of the epic battle between good and evil still have remarkable relevance
and continue to resonate with poignancy in our bleak, war torn society. The poem
Leda and the Swan, written by William Butler Yeats, attempts to shed new light on
what is arguably one of Ancient Greece s most controversial myths. In this essay I
aim to study the poem in more depth, analysing what Yeats says and how he says it.
Leda and the Swan is an interpretation of the Greek myth wherein Zeus, in the...

One could go further and argue that the intentional eroticism of something so
violent is somewhat sinister after all, a caress is supposed to be an act of affection
and love, and is not normally associated with something spiteful and violent. A
sense of the victim s entrapment and entanglement is created in the next line, in
which Yeats describes the swan s wings as dark webs (the word dark is also used
to portray the swan and its actions as sinister). This sense of entrapment is
emphasised where the swan is said to have the nape of the victim s neck trapped in
its bill . The contrast in texture between the words nape and caught emphasise the
power of the action. Yet, despite the brutality of Zeus initial action, the softness of the
word bill implies that it is forceful, yet not overpowering. The eroticism which
occurred in the second line continues in the line He holds her helpless breast upon his
breast . The softness of the words used, combined with the sexual connotations which
they carry, lends the line an erotic tone, made sinister by the forceful nature of the
animal s actions. The second stanza of the poem consists of two questions, both
pondering on the nature of the victim s actions,
4. Christian Church Essay
For this assignment, I decided to go to Campus House to see a nondenominational
Christian church service. I wanted to go here because as a Catholic, I always
wondered how church service for general Christians varied from that of Catholics.
The ceremony took place in a room that looked like a theater. There was a stage with
mics and music stands that was surrounded by folding chairs. The walls were adorned
with black and white pictures of people and places. The atmosphere felt more like a
speakeasy type theater than a religious place. The beginning of the ceremony
consisted of a debrief on upcoming events within the week. After the announcement,
the preacher announced that they were going to talk about the story of Jonah through
acting out... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main form of communication between people in the service was within the
story, and was based off of humor. The story was acted in a way that was funny
and entertaining yet valuable and easy for the service goers to comprehend. As in
some other services, the preacher still preached to the audience about the
importance of the sermon. He also asked the people rhetorical questions about what
was occurring within the story such as when he was describing what God
essentially said to Jonah he added isn t that cool onto the end of his statement. The
preacher would also use hand gestures that often included him pointing to the
audience or placing his hand over his heart, as well as using the word you
repeatedly. This allowed for the people listening to him to connect more to him and
what he was saying as well as to God. The service ended with everyone singing a
hymn together. The communication with nonhumans was surprisingly minimal
within the service. There was an offering basket passed through the pews that people
could place their donations/offering to the church in. Another form of nonhuman
interaction was that there was constantly music in the background to set the mood
for whatever was being talked about. Nonhuman communication was also evident in
the ritual of communion where the church goers ate the bread (body of Christ) and
wine (blood of Christ). This was conducted by a basket filled with wafers and a tray
filled with little glasses of wine passed between
5. Essay Identity Theft
Identity theft is one of the most pervasive and rapidly growing criminal activities in
America. It is also one of the most devastating crimes for victims. One of the most
common forms of identity theft is credit and debit card fraud. Credit card fraud not
only exposes private payment information to thieves, but possibly the cardholder s
name, address, and social security number. A 2003 survey from the Identity Theft
Resource Center found that approximately seven million people were victims of
identity theft over the previous 12 months. 73% of respondents indicated that the
theft of their identity involved the unauthorized use of their credit cardinformation,
while only 15% of these victims find out about the theft of their credit... Show more

As recent examples of widespread security failure at the highest corporate levels
highlight the need for reliable protections that will effectively minimize consumer
exposure to credit fraud. Potential victims do have options to protect themselves, but
not all are equally effective. While consumers may choose from any number of
privatized surveillance options to monitor their credit activity (services typically
offered by independent security companies) this recourse does little to prevent
identity fraud. Security surveillance flags fraudulent activity only after it has
occurred. A security freeze (or credit freeze ), on the other hand, is a proactive tool
designed to prevent fraudulent activity before it starts.
The credit freeze
A credit freeze provides consumers with the option to freeze or lock lender access
to their credit files at the three major credit bureaus, Equifax, Experian and
TransUnion. Once a credit freeze is in place, no company (aside from companies the
customer already does business with) can access the frozen line of credit for any
reason. Creditors typically refuse to open a new credit account without access to a
credit report, effectively preventing anyone from attempting to open a line of credit in
another consumer s name. Afterwards, the consumer may temporarily or permanently
remove the freeze by using a personal

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) is important because, 1 It is an international ethical
and scientific quality standard for the conduct of clinical research. 2 Compliance
with this standard provides public assurance that the rights, safety and well being of
trial subjects are protected, consistent with the principles that have their origin in
the Declaration of Helsinki. 3 It assures the quality, reliability and integrity of the

ethical principles are; respect for persons, beneficence, and justice. Respect for
persons involves a recognition of the personal dignity and autonomy of individuals,
and special protection of those persons with diminished autonomy. Beneficence
entails an obligation to protect persons from harm by maximizing anticipated
benefits and minimizing possible risks of harm. Justice requires that the benefits
and burdens of research be distributed fairly. Q3 What specific areas of the ICH
GCP did the investigator not follow? The study in this scenario was conducted and

In early 1990 Somalia was going through a civil war. Their dictator Mohammed
Farrah had order the closer of all food transportation that entered the country. His
goal was to kill his own people by starving them to death. About 300,000 civilians
had died of hunger. In response, the united States send troops to Somalia to capture
Mohammed Farrah, the self proclaimed president of Somalia. They soon found out
that the best strategic was to capture Omar Salad Elmi and Abdi Hassan Awale

they capture both of the advisors. As they departed, everything started to fail.
Communication was a huge role on why this mission turned out to be a rescue
mission. As they departed the target building to head back to the military base,
both ground and air support, suffered many injuires. After a few min a one of the
two black hawks was shot down by a grenade. Black Hawk Super 6 1 is hit by a
rocket grenade and crashes five blocks away from the target building. The mission
then turned into a rescue mission to save the soldiers that were in the black hawk.
Soldiers had to walk to the crash site, which was a very dangerous mission to go
through since enemies were all over Mogadishu. As soldiers were on their way to
crash number one a second hawk was shot down. Black Hawk, Super 64, is hit by
another Somali rocket grenade, and crashes about a mile away from the target
building. Bowden described the moments that followed the crashed: [The pilot, Dan]

8. Nicholas Carr
Nicholas Carr, a technology, culture and economics writer, examines the impact
technological innervation has on the way people act and think on a daily basis. His
recent difficulties concentrating while reading books and lengthy articles has led him
to believe that his time spent online may be contributing to his lacking concentration
and contemplation skills. By prefacing his argument with anecdotes from his friends
and acquaintances, he is convinced that a new type of reading and interpreting is
emerging. Unlike the instinctive skill of speech, reading and writing are learned
characteristics that Carr believes are being taught in a new way thanks to the amount
of time people spend on the Internet. He believes that the neural circuitry of the brain
is beginning to be shaped by the Internet, rather than by the books people read, the
way it was shaped in the past. This provides the reasoning as to why Carr thinks that
Internet may be making the population stupid.
Carr begins his essay by introducing readers to the idea that, although the Internet
can be quite helpful, it may be the leading cause in the lack of concentration skills
this generation possesses. He begins by explaining how in recent years, he
experienced great difficulty in dealing with his shortened attention span, the same
way his literary type friends have (93). By drawing on few experiences other than his
own, Carr begins to group everyone into the same category, therefore creating a hasty
generalization
9. Analysis Of The Movie Booker
Booker, 18, was out job searching, trying to figure out what he wanted to do with
his life. He kept trying to find a job to help out his mom since she was getting old
and sick. Booker s father was one of the 900 dead in the First Battle of Bull Run.
His older brothers were out already fighting in the war and were sending money to
their own wives. But Booker never liked violence. He was a pacifist. Everywhere
he kept hearing to just join the army, go to war, that s what all his friends did. But
after weeks of not being able to find work, he was forced into the war due to the
draft. Booker never left New York in his life; it was his home. Booker had no choice

The journey took weeks and food was running short along with water. All the men
were getting tired of the constant marching, the gear was getting heavy, and the hot
sun wasn t helping them at all. To Booker s surprise, some of the men already went
down due to these terrible living conditions.
They finally met with the confederates in the Henrico County, Virginia for the
Battle of Fair Oaks. Booker went to take a position secluded from as many people
as he can, hoping that he wouldn t have to kill anyone. He was up on a slightly
elevated part behind a few trees laying down, watching as the men got closer to
each other. Finally after they reached a position close enough to each other, the
battle began. Booker couldn t believe how loud it was. He turned away and heard
the screams of men getting shot. He heard the artillery being fired and crashing
down on a group of soldiers. He didn t know what to do. Booker never wanted to
fire his gun. Eventually he looked back through the rifle and saw a bullet fly into
one of his fellow soldier s head; the bullet entered the man s head and was stuck
there. Booker saw the pieces of the man s skull flying through the air, blood running
down his head, Booker even heard his screams. Booker threw up immediately
afterwards. Eventually Booker finally was able to look through the sniper scope again.
He saw hundreds lying there, dead. Some were lying and screaming for help. He saw

Sonja Wilson From: Calie Lukenbill Date: November 21, 2011 Subject: Pensions As
you may know there are two types of pension plans that are most commonly used: a
defined contribution plan and a defined benefit plan. A defined contribution plan sets
forth a certain amount that the employer is to contribute to the plan each period
(Schroeder, Clark, amp; Cathey, Pensions and Other Postretirement Benefits, 2011).
A defined benefit plan specifies the amount of pension benefits to be paid out to plan
recipients in the future. Companies that use this plan must make sufficient

SFAS No. 87 Employers Accounting for Pensions maintains that pension information
should be prepared on the accrual basis and retained three fundamental aspects of past
pension accounting: 1. delaying recognition of certain events, 2. Reporting net cost,
and 3. offsetting assets and liabilities (Schroeder, Clark, amp; Cathey, Pensions and
Other Postretirement Benefits, 2011). The components of pension costs reflect
different aspects of the benefits earned by employees and the method of financing
those benefits by the employer. The following are required to be included in the net
pension cost recognized by the employer sponsoring a defined benefits pension plan:
1. Service cost, 2. Interest cost, 3. Return on plan assets, 4. Amortization of
unrecognized prior service cost, 5. Amortization of gains and losses, 6. Amortization
of the unrecognized net obligation or unrecognized net asset at the date of the initial

before? We were strangers in a new world desperate for someone to have pity on us

It was truly overwhelming, but since we were just married, we tentatively braced
ourselves for the challenges that were to come. After all, young couples are

faded away as we were swallowed whole by the city and slowly digested. The
fumes of low tide and cigarette butts filled our lungs. The sound of bustling
tourists and competing trumpeters blasted our ears. But the worst part about it
was not the bombardment that numbed our senses, it was the isolation from
everything we had come to know and love. We brought little things with us like
pictures and trinkets. I had my signed golf ball from the 72 Masters and Amber
had the sweat stained rag that her father used for nearly two decades at GE before
health inspectors demanded he get a new one. More importantly, we had each

that we were isolated from everyone else so my disdain was slightly unfounded. In
any case, when my sister Elise and her husband Hamp came to visit us Easter
weekend six months after moving in, we were more than happy to see them. Once I

13. Differences Between Bacteria And Archaea
It is something that has been around longer than we have. We depend on both and
they depend on us. The area mentioned here are the bacteria and archaea. During
early stages they were considered to be the same however in the 1970 s scientists
discovered that major differences do set them apart. Essentially the prokaryotes
include bacteriawhile the eukaryotes had already included the archaea. The archaea is
seen as a survivor as it is thought to have been around since the beginning of our
time. So what are we then exactly? We are nothing else than a biological form that is
also a habitat for Bacteria and archaea.
As much as we communicate verbally these two non living life forms are able to
converse through chemical reactions. As Herbert Levine said: they exchange work as
much as human language does. They maintain linguistic communication allowing
them to collaborate with others of their form. ... Show more content on

They have different ribosomal RNAs. Archaea works with three RNA polymerases
just like other eukaryotes. In contrast the bacteria only possess one. Also the archaea
have cell walls which in effect do lack peptidoglycan including membranes enclosing
lipids with hydrocarbons rather than fatty acids. The lipids within the archaea are
unique and have an ether linkage with glycerol backbones while the bacterium has
an ester linkage. In total archaea is more similar to eukaryotes than bacteria making
it a more sophisticated microorganism. Nevertheless they differ greatly in their
genetic and biochemical ways. Archaea is and will always be considered a distinct
domain of life. They thrive in physically or geochemically extreme conditions. When
trying to act upon an archaea or bacteria with the use of antibiotics we can witness
that both organisms will react
14. The Underground Economy And Its Effects On Canada
While the underground economy might benefit individuals involved in the trades
and make some part of the society happy, it is creating a bad cycle that brings
negative third party effects on Canada and should be eliminated as much as
possible. Underground economy, also known as the black market, is when sellers
and buyers trade their goods and services then on purposely unreported the business
activity to evade the price controls. That includes avoiding the price ceilings, the
price floors and taxrates set by the Government. The black market is the second
largest type of market in the world, occurring in both developed and developing
countries. All kinds of goods and services are available in an underground economy.
The most commonly traded are goods and services that are available in the official
market, but at a lower cost in the black market, or goods and services that have a
limited supply in the official market, but are sold at an elevated price in the black
market. Despite the trade being illegal, as long as both the seller and buyer comes
to an agreement on the price, they trade privately with cash to avoid being detected.
Although many sellers get away with this, at the end of the day underground
economy is a continued cycle of affecting the country and its citizens, including
sellers and buyers in the black market, mostly its tax revenues will be affected, then
the GDP, and finally its citizens. All black market trades are done in the shadows, but

Youth Groups as a discourse community The only people who go to youth groups are
the perfect kids who never do anything wrong, go to church every week, talk about
God and about what is going on in their lives. This was my speculation before
attending Pinion Hills Community Church in Farmington, New Mexico. Many
people believe this to be a stereotype but my guess is that it is anything but the truth.
Pinion Hills is a non denominational church with a youth group that takes place on
Saturdays at five thirty in the afternoon and then again on Sundays at nine thirty in
the morning. I chose to attend the Saturday youth group with my roommate who has
attended the youth group for a little over a year now.
Christianity began over 2000 years ago with Jesus Christ and his disciples. Jesus
would travel around the village s preaching religion and teaching people the will of
God. Jesus would eventually die for the sins of man but three days later he would
be resurrected and give hope to the world. Jesus became known as the Messiah for
the Christian religion as well as the teacher of God. People today continue to tell
his stories and worship him still to this day. There are various ways that people
come together to worship and praise God. One way would be the getting together of
youth groups since it allows the youth to learn about God in a more modern and fun
way.

Abstract
Notre Dame of Paris is one of the most prominent cathedrals in the land of Paris
and portrays many diversified Gothic characteristics. This research essay will
explore the cathedral in detail while emphasizing on the influence of Gothic
architecture on the cathedral. Notre Dame of Paris bears all the structural features
of a Gothic cathedral including the famous rose window. By far, the Gothic style has
influenced the entire design of Notre Dame of Pairs. If there were other influences, it
would be too minor to be taken noticed of. The construction began in year 1163.

This majestic cathedral decorated the land of Paris, dominating both the history of
architecture as well as religion history. The cathedral still stands proudly after
enduring an eventful history over many centuries. Truly a fascinating historic
building to behold, Our Lady of Paris , another term for Notre Dame of Paris,
portrays many diversified characteristics which will help identify a structure as
Gothic. One may lay eyes upon this building and refer it to one of Gothic s grand
structure. For many, their first concept of Gothic architecture derives from some
reference to this majestic construction. In this research, I shall consider the following
questions as an approach to appreciate and comprehend Notre Dame de Paris s
architectural aesthetic and value better:
1.What are the obvious influences of the Gothic style to the cathedral?
2.Has the Gothic style influenced the building completely or only part of it? If it was
only partially influenced, what may be the other influence that affected the design of
the structure?
3.How and when the cathedral was build?
4.What is the importance of this cathedral and how did the local people accepted the
cathedral? As a brief introduction to Gothic, the label Gothic was coined in Italy. It
was during Renaissance, as a derogatory reference to the art and architecture of these
earlier centuries (Introduction:
17. Electoral College Should Be Abolished Essay
Aimee Ojeda
December 1, 2017 Abolishing the Electoral College
The Electoral College system was created in the constitution by the Founding Fathers.
This system forms the beginning of the United States national elections and is
therefore, considered to be important to this country s history. It is made up of 538
members and a candidate must receive a majority of 270 electoral votes to win the
election. Electors usually get selected to one of the presidential candidates running.
When people go to the ballot on voting day and pick their favorite candidate, they are
really choosing the electors for their state and then the electors are the ones that vote
for the president. The Electoral College should be revised or abolished because it is
both undemocratic, is not beneficial to the nation, and may weaken the validity of
elections and the elected President.
To start off, the electoral college system is undemocratic because instead of
everyone being involved only a small group of people are able to make the
decisions which is the electors citizens pick when voting. This Electoral College
System has limited democracy to people because it holds an ability to alter result of
Election over popular votes and creates high voter turnouts. The Electoral College
betrays American values of majority rule: a candidate can win the election without a
majority of popular votes and some states are overrepresented so a large number of
citizens get left out. This can create a situation

ears blasting their music or talking on the phone. This is one clear example of the
incorrect use of technology as this not only affects your social skills and ability to
interact with those around you, but it can also cause loss of hearing. Although,
loss of hearing is one thing the overuse of technology can also lead to loss of
eyesight. For example, have you ever watched television or stared at your phone so
long your eyes begin to water and hurt? This is another sign from your body telling
you, you need to slow down and stop straining your eyes from the overuse of
technology. It is known that constant straining of the eyes can cause the need for
glasses earlier in life. So if you find yourself having longer conversations with Siri
compared to humans, you need to turn off your phone or turn it on silent and interact
with others. It

Cesar Estrada Chavez was born March 31, 1927 in Yuma Arizona the son of
Librado and Juana Chavez. Cesar father owned 100 acres of land but was kicked
off it when his parents couldn t pay the taxes because it was during the great
depression. When Chavez was young he and his family faced a lot of racisms
everywhere. School was the worst place for Chavez because he was bullied for his
mexican american culture. Chavez quit school to work in the fields full time to help
his family. Chavez also served in Navy during world War II for two years. Even
though he was fighting for the american country he was still treated bad because of
he was mexican american. After he finished his two years in the navy he went to
california to work in the farms. He married Helen fabela and had eight children.

Chavez thought that they were dangerous for the chicanos who picked the grapes
and also dangerous for the people who consumed them. This led him to form
another boycott and eight years later he fasted again but this time for 36 days. This
sacrifice did bring attention to the people and the fight for farm workers rights and
more money wages continued. Chavez kept on working with the immigrants and
the farmworkers movement which was later renamed as La Causa. After all these
years of long and hard work he was rewarded. Chavez got what he wanted which
was helping the immigrant farm workers getting paid more, because in 1980 they
were getting better wages. California s migrant farm workers went up 70% and were
also provided with health care. Many mexican americans were thankful for Chavez

20. The Plot Of The Classical Detective
Peter HГјhn, a professor of English Literature, defines detective fiction as, The plot
of the classical detective novel comprises two basically separate stories the story
of the crime (which consists of action) and the story of the investigation (which is
concerned with knowledge) (252). At its rudimentary level, Suki Kim s novel The
Interpreter follows a similar structure. She presents her protagonist, Suzy Park, as
the detective to find the knowledge, to her own personal mystery. Suzy is a twenty
nine year old Korean American woman who lives in New York City. She is
haunted by the murders of her parents; she was estranged from them for five years
before their passing. When Suzy has reason to believe that their murder was a
random shooting as was previously believed, she uses all the information that is
available to solve the crime. Suki Kim utilizes tone and a nonlinear narrative
structure to parallel Suzy s confused mental state in The Interpreter. Because Suzy
struggles to understand where she fits between both her American and Korean
cultures, she must search to find her own identity and simultaneously search for the
answers to her parent s unsolved murder. Kim thus allows for her detective novel to
have another dimension: in addition to investigating the crime, Suzy must investigate
who she is as a human being. Suzy Park was originally born in Korea and moved to
the United States at the age of five. Thus, she feels stuck between two cultures. She

23. Patrick Henry Speech Analysis
In Patrick Henry s Give me Liberty or Give me Death speech, he uses different
rhetorical strategies to support his argument. One of those strategies is Pathos, his
appeal to emotion for war. Another is his use of tone, angry and determined,
during his argument. Finally, there is his use of allusions to help understand his
argument. Pathos, tone, and allusions help the reader understand his need for war
against the British. Henry appeals to emotion when he keeps returning to the fact
that they should take arms against Great Britain. Henry talks about hope as one of
his emotions. He states that it is natural to man to indulge in illusions of hope, but
then concludes that they can t hope anymore, In vain, after these things, may we
indulge the fond hope of peace and reconciliation. There is no longer any room for
hope. He emphasized how we need to fight and he uses hope as a delusion,
hugging the delusive phantom of hope, until our enemies shall have bound us
hand and foot? . Henry is trying to tell them that hope is just an illusion. His
speech is really about regaining liberty. He proposes if we wish to be free if we
mean to preserve inviolate those inestimable privileges for which we have been so
long tending if we... and his answer is the We must Fight! . Give me Liberty or Give
me Death! He uses the emotion of hope and liberty to show why war is inevitable and
to initiate now instead of waiting. Patrick Henry s tone corresponds with his emotion
throughout.

ABSTRACT
Adding exogenous enzymes to poultry feed is now a very common necessity in the
agricultural industry as a result of its commercial, environmental and animal benefits.
Birds are mono gastric animals, therefore, their endogenous enzymes, working alone,
are unable to digest most nutrients in their corn SBM based diets, hence the need for
exogenous enzymes. These enzymes when added to poultry feed helps with the
digestion of phytate or phytic acids, polysaccharides like; xylans and beta glucans.
They also allow maximum retention of nutrients required by the bird, reduce
intestinal viscosity, improve faecal moisture, enhance intestina bacterial proliferation,
and improve growth. In short, enzymes are

Porter argues that if a firm is to attain competitive advantage; it must choose between
the types of competitive advantage it seeks, discuss using an industrial example? An
industry can be defined as a group of companies offering products that are closely
substituting for each other in order to satisfy customers. Competitive advantage can
be defined as when a firm sustains profit which exceeds the company s average; it
automatically possesses competitive advantage over rivals. The business strategy for
most companies is to achieve a sustainable competitive advantage. This essay aims to
discuss why firms must choose between types of competitive advantages using an
industrial example. Michael Porter indentified that there are 2... Show more content

Porter states that there are 2 types of competitive advantage a firm can possess as
mentioned above however , there are 3 generic strategies for achieving
competitive advantage in an industry; cost advantage/leadership, differentiation
and focus. The first type of competitive advantage is cost advantage /leadership, it
is when a firm becomes low cost producer in its industry. It minimizes the cost to
the organization of delivering products and services. According to Porter (1985) ,
there are two ways of achieving cost leadership either by increasing profit by
reducing costs while charging the average price. Or by increasing market share
through charging lower prices while still achieving a reasonable profit on each
sale because your cost has been reduced. Furthermore, companies that are
successful in achieving cost leadership usually have an access to the capital
needed to invest in technology which helps reduce the cost. Also, they have very
efficient logistics and a low cost base such as labor, materials and facilities (Ibid,
1985). Essentially, if a firm can achieve and maintain cost leadership, it can obtain
above average performance whilst the prices are still affordable in that industry.
Hence, the cost leader does not try to be the industry innovator, it seeks to position
its products to appeal to the average customer taste. The aimed goal is to increase
efficiency and lower its costs in relation to competitors. Some of the

Introduction
Early History Before adopting the name Iran in 1935, the country was known as
Persia. At this point, Raza Kahn became Shah, or emperor of Iran. Kahn ruled as
an autocrat until being forced to step down in order for his son, Mohammed Raza
Pahlavi, to take the throne at the beginning of World War 2. During World War 2,
Iran became occupied by British and Russian forces, but was largely absent in any
participation in fighting the war. The Iranian government attempted fairly
successfully to avoid combat, and with it the probable demise of the nation during
the war. Following World War 2, in 1950, Iran saw the brief rule of Prime Minister
Ali Razamara. Razamara was assassinated merely nine months after coming into
power, and was followed by Mohammad Mossadeq. In 1951, Iranian parliament
voted to nationalize domestic oil exports. However, as the oil industry in Iran was
still largely controlled by the British, Britain imposed an embargo on all oil exports,
demonstrating its power in manipulating the Iranian economy. The Shah was forced
to flee the country as
28. Gymnasts In Gymnastics
Gymnastics is a very difficult sport that takes a lot of commitment. Many children
take on gymnastics at a young age and strive to become Olympic gymnasts by
competing their whole lives, but not a lot of people are able to pursue that dream due
to the challenges that come with being a gymnast. Coaches are currently conditioning
and training their gymnasts at very demanding and advanced levels. Although the
sport has several positive health benefits on the body, it also puts gymnasts at a very
high risk of injury. It is not very common for these injuriesto be severe, however, if
they are not treated properly it is likely for them to lead to chronic pain and even
bone fractures.
One of a gymnasts most common injuries is a stress fracture involving the lower
back. The medical term for this is Spondylosis. The back is a very crucial part of
gymnastics, it is constantly working hard and being used. Amongst gymnasts, the
most common cause of a stress fracture is overuse. However, they can also occur
due to an awkward fall or a fall from a height. Almost everything in gymnastics calls
for a combination of great speed and power which puts any gymnast at high risk of
falling or landing wrong. Whether it s a fall or an awkward landing, the pressure is
being applied to the spine and joints, increasing the chances of injury. Back injuries in
adolescent athletes stem from repetitive stressful body movements, like bending and
twisting that can cause trauma to the spinal column. The

story is about a mid aged girl named Nina, who is a ballerina trying out for a swan
queen part, in the play, swan lake. It s complicated because she is a goody two
shoes who s only good for the white swan part. Nina is going through some changes
with coming to age, and confusion with sexuality. Which helps her grow from a pure
and white swan, into a blacksinful swan. The new dancer (her understudy) known as
Lilly, who is a rebellious girl. Lilly helps Nina evolve into the black swan almost
referring to her maturity into womanhood. The stress for the part becomes too
much for her and she begins to lose touch with reality, not sure what she seeing in
front of her is real or not. The scene I am analyzing is the final performance scene.
In this scene, Nina finally becomes the black swan by killing herself, making herself
having the perfect performance she has always dreamed of.
The lighting on the stage is set up the way it is to make it seem like we are in the
theater watching the performance, yet we see through Nina s eyes as she takes her
last glimpse at her successful performance. The lighting reminds me of a spotlight.
The whole stage is lit up and beautiful, while the crowd is dark. The light moves from
the performers, then to Nina as she moves upstage to the sun because she is the
center of attention in this scene as her and her character she plays dies. As she falls,
the lighting grows

The film Moana is a unique movie from Disney, that isn t another one of those
helpless princess gets saved movies. Disney s two hour film is about Moana a
strong Polynesian female protagonist that does her best to save her island from a
demigod named Maui. Disneys film Moana is an improvement for Disney because
they had Moana be an independent character, they took their time on the movie,
and they tried their best to depict all the characters in an appropriate way. The main
character in Moana , Moana, is unlike any other Disney princess. This character is
independent and doesn t get a prince and live happily ever after. According to the

From taking trips to Polynesian islands to hiring the perfect people, they made sure
to make the movie perfect. For example, The directors took trips to Fiji, Samoa, and
Tahiti. These are all Polynesian Islands (Newsela,1) This tells us that Clements and
Musker took their time on and cares about Moana because they cared enough to take
trips to understand Polynesia culture. This also proves that they cared about their film
because they spent a large amount of money just to understand the Polynesian
culture. Additionally, Musker and Clements found Auli l Cravalho, and it is her
first acting job. The teen grew up in a small town and attended an all Hawaiian
school where she learned the folklore of Maui, one of the islands in Hawaii
(Newsela,1) This shows that Clements and Musker took their time because they
cared enough to look for the perfect voice for the main character, Moana. This
illustrates that Clements and Musker cared and took their time on Moana because
they found someone that actually is Polynesian and the right person for the job. All
in all, Disney producers Ron Clements and John Musker cared and took their time to
make their film, Moana ,
31. James Polk And Manifest Destiny
Around the mid 1800s, the United States was focused on the idea of expansion . This
idea was influenced by Manifest Destiny a term that the U.S. not only could, but was
destined to, stretch from coast to coast and its economic nature, which was the
increased development and advancement of industry in the United States. As the U.S.
began to grow more powerful and internally sound, they were able to add more
land and, subsequently, states, into the Union. The vast majority of this expansion
occurred during the presidency of James Polk as a result of the Treaty of
Guadalupe Hidalgo, which ceased the Mexican American war. The conception of
this war was the brainchild of Polk and was what resulted from his presidential
ideologies. President James Polk was responsible for the start of the Mexican
American war to a great extent due to his expansionist ideologies and succeeding
actions, aspiration to annex the regions of California and Texas, and contributions of
troops along the Rio GrandeRiver in 1846. To begin with, during the election of
1844, James Polk was considered to be a long shot and a definite underdog.
However, Polk gained the support of many Americans through his clear desire to
defend the territories of the United States and to further expand them. This ideology
became prevalent through his campaign slogan, 54 40 or fight , referring to the
territory that, at the time, was disputed between the United States and Great Britain,
when is modern day Canada and the

There are nine core competencies that the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner
Faculties (NONPF) has adopted in which the nurse practitioner student s education is
based on: scientific foundation, leadership, quality, practice inquiry, technology and
information literacy, policy, health delivery system, ethics, and independent practice
competencies. This writer will describe and summarize the competencies as they
relate to the nurse practitioners practice. After extensive research by this writer, she
was able to conduct a thorough interview with a Certified Nurse Practitioner(CNP).
This writer has learned how the working CNP utilizes the competencies in her
practice as a Neonatal Certified Nurse Practitioner.
Description of the 9 NONPF NP Core Competencies
The NONPF NP Core Competencies were established for the NP students to obtain
a sound set of competencies that every NP student must have in order to practice
independently (NONPF, 2015). They will have the skill and knowledge to practice
by oneself. The competencies include the Scientific Foundation Competencies. These
competencies will guide the student to conduct research and have evidence to back
their findings. The NP will be able to critically analyze data and improve the practice
by developing their own approach (NONPF, 2015).
The Leadership Competency will help the NP institute change and help others
initiate change as well (NONPF, 2015). The NP will be aware of the cost and quality

Post Traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) affects thousands, from abused children to
men and women in the military. PTSD can be caused by physical and or emotional
trauma, it is not exclusive to one race, gender or age group. PTSD can effect anyone
who is exposed to severe trauma and is diagnosed at alarming rates. What
neurological damage is caused, where in the brainis this damage caused and how is
it studied? With modern science we are able to view how Post Traumatic stress
disorder effects the neurological workings of the brain.
Post Traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a common mental health condition
developed after a server emotion or physical trauma. The effects of PTSD include
nightmares, flashbacks, feelings of detachment, depression, and anxiety. Symptoms
are broken into three categories. The first are re experiencing symptoms, they can
include reliving the traumatic event, through flashbacks, and nightmares. The second
type are avoidance and numbing symptoms. Avoidance of things and places that
remind one of the event, detachment emotionally from loved ones and bouts of
depression. Finally there are arousal symptoms such as being constantly on guard,
outburst of anger and irritability. Due to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan over the
past 15 years, PTSD has become a common mental health issue in the United States
with an estimated 3 million people in the US affected at any given time. PTSD has
caused suffering world wide, those afflicted are soldiers, civilians in

36. Symbolism in The Lord Of The Flies.
William Golding was a British writer. He has written several novels, and has won
the Nobel Prize in Literature. His best known novel is The Lord of The Flies,
published
in 1954. In The Lord of the Flies, William Golding uses different themes and symbols
to get the point of the novel across. These symbols include the pigs head, the
conch, and even the boys themselves. The author uses symbols to show societys rules
and faults.
The first symbol is the conch. Ralph and Piggy discover the conch in the
beginning of the novel on the beach. They use it as a horn to call any other survivors

It s a fire that Jack and his followers have started
in their hunt to kill Ralph.
Piggy is the smartest and most logical of the boys, and it simply seems natural
that his glasses are a symbol of intelligence. This symbolic implication is clear from
the
start of the novel; the boys use Piggy s glasses to start a fire by focusing sunlight.
When
Jack s hunters attack Ralph s camp and steal Piggy s glasses it means the loss of
rational
thinking and savagery is starting to take over the boys minds.
The little uns believe that there is a beastie in the woods. It stands for primal
instinct of savagery that is within every human being. The beast frightens the boys,
and
only Simon is able to realize that the reason they are afraid of the beast is because it
37. exists within each of them. Their belief in the beast grows stronger as they become
more
and more savage. Near the end of the novel, some of the boys treat it as a god and
leave it
sacrifices.
Many of the novels characters signify important themes. Ralph shows order,
leadership, control and society. Piggy represents the logical and intellectual
characteristic
of life. Jack is a symbol of savagery, and the longing to rule. Simon and Roger portray
the good and evil in humans. Some might see the boys society in a political point of
view, the little uns as the common people and the older boys

Group Thesis: Student athletes should be paid for their participation in college

Individual Thesis: Have you ever wondered why NFL athletes get paid to play a

College athletes should not get paid to play a sport because they are playing for the
love of the game. Many athletes get scholarships or benefits to play a sport in the
first place which means that they don t need any more money. Sports should be a
reward for good grades and only players that really love the sport should play it.
Any athlete should just play the sport for fun and not money. It s way too difficult to

Charles Darwin: The Study of Origin Charles Darwin a naturalist, born in England
in 1809. His theory of evolution was developed after a five year journey around the

evolution and his views on the process of natural selection. During the course of the

theory about the origin of living beings that was contrary to the popular view of other

australian journal _ANALOG_ where a hazard had been documented. It is, however,
attractive for its sheer simplicity. It requires no specialized chem equipment or
reagents at all.
Beta nitroisosafrole is a less used precursor, but there is a large literature on the
synthesis and reduction of nitro alkenes. This synthetic route isn t as popular due
to the easier availability of precursors for MDP 2 P, and it also results in MDA which
must then be further processed to give MDMA or any other N alkyl homolog of
MDA. There are numerous ways to convert beta nitroisosafrole to MDA: LiAlH4,
AlH3, electrolytic, Na(Hg), BH3 THF / NaBH4, Raney Ni catalyst, Pd / BaSO4
catalyst, Zn (Hg). Beta nitroisosafrole, when used, is commonly synthesized from
piperonal. Beta nitroisosafrole can also be used as a precursor for MDP 2 P, but this
is not commonly done.
There are other synthetic routes, such as

I hate the fact of knowing that the only way for someone to mentally escape can
bring evilness into their eyes. Why is it that that happens? Why is our only escape
the way that can bruise us the most? Don t you hate when you hold a passion for
something and everyone around you disapproves of the fact. It s like you re
holding onto the last string but in reality nobody is at the other end, you re all
alone. You are fighting for yourself. You are pushing yourself, 7.5 billion people in

captivates them and brings them peace. Little do you know those escapes are really

Little do you know the two men, Fredrick Douglass and Malcolm X, died climbing
that mountain, they died breaking those chains, the died striving for the
maximum. Nobody believed these three people; Sandra Cisneros, Fredrick
Douglass, and Malcolm X; had the gift in the beautiful words they wrote. The
words that influenced others to strive for the maximum that they were never able
to even see. Their words allowed others to break free from the chains, it allowed
them to climb to the top of the mountain that nobody believed they could reach. We
are always given the negative, why are we always fed the negative? We crave the
attention, we crave the fact of knowing someone being there to guide and help us.

Abstract The utilization of PC systems for information transmissions has made the
need of security. The security of this intuitive media data should be possible with
encryption or information concealing calculations. To diminish the transmission time,
the information pressure is necessary. Since couple of years, an issue is to attempt to
join pressure, encryption and information covering up in a solitary stride. Picture
security turns out to be progressively critical for some applications, e.g., secret
transmission, video reconnaissance, military and therapeutic applications. These
days, the transmission of pictures is an every day routine and it is important to locate
a proficient approach to transmit them over systems. They send Secret message over
channel utilizing Cryptography and Steganography calculations by AES (Advanced
Encryption Standard). It is utilized to scramble the information from plain content to
figure content the other way around. There are two sorts of keys accessible in the
cryptography, symmetric and asymmetric. There are utilizing symmetric keywhich is
separated into two key, for example, private and open key. Open key is utilized for
encryption and private key is utilized for decoding. The reversible information
concealing method is utilized to recover the information and picture
44. Technology s Impact On The Impact Of Technology In The...
We are living in the informational era where everything is expected to be innovative
and always in demand. With that comes the never ending innovation of technology.
Looking back in to the history of sports, the growth of technology has unpredictable
consequences towards the sports industry however, it grew sports into what it is
today. The sports industry first took its great leap of popularity through the industrial
revolution. With more people coming into urban living, people had more money and
more time to focus on sports. Without the technology that made factories possible,
people may not have time to focus on sports. Furthermore, in the 19th century, the
growth of sports was almost dependent on new technology: transportation. The
inventions of railroads, trains and telegraphs made sports a nationwide event.
Thousands of new inventions of technology such as, TV, internet, shoe factories,
clothing factories, phones, magazines, and many more has complimented the growth
of sports. With the increasing demand and popularity of sports, sports teams have
mega stadiums worth millions and billions of dollars. To give a perspective, the Los
Angeles Stadium, the home for the LA RAMS and Chargers has a price tag of $2.66
billion. However, today, technology has shifted towards a to go mentality, where
everything can be accessed instantaneously anywhere in anytime. Therefore, this
research would attempt to identify the effect of technology on the influences in sports

45. 12 Minor Prophets Of The Old Testament
One of the 12 minor prophets of the Old Testament, Haggai, played an essential
role in the rebuilding of the temple of the Lord. Although we are not given the
specific details about when it is written or who wrote the book of Haggai, it is
often assumed that Haggai himself wrote it. Scholars also presume that it was
written around 520 B.C. due to the specifics of the time period given in the book
itself. It is a rather short book, only consisting of two chapters, and exact dates are
given as to when the Lord spoke to Haggai regarding the rebuilding of the temple.
For example, Haggai opens up by saying that the Lord first spoke to Haggai on the
first day of the sixth month of the rule of Darius. The messages from the Lord to
Haggai were directed to the governor, Zerubbabel, the high priest, Joshua,a and
sometimes to all the people of Judah. These messages usually focus on the apathy of
the people to rebuild the temple of the Lord.
The people of God during The Book of Haggai are avoiding rebuilding the temple in
Jerusalem. The first temple was built by Solomon, the son of David. David initially
wanted to build the temple, but God gave the task to Solomon. The Babylonians
led by Nebuchadnezzar marched into Jerusalem and destroyed this first temple of
God. The temple was to be rebuilt, but it was being avoided largely during the time
of Haggai. Consequently, God spoke to Haggai and had him relay messages to his
people. God started by asking the people how they live in their

Kennedy particularly wanted to end discrimination in federally financed projects or
in companies that were doing business with the government. In September 1962
Governor Ross R. Barnett of Mississippi ignored a court order and prevented James
H. Meredith, a black man, from enrolling at the state university. On the night of
September 30, even as the president went on national television to appeal to the
people of Mississippi to obey the law, rioting began on the campus. After 15 hours of
rioting and two deaths, Kennedy sent in troops to restore order. Meredith was
admitted to the university, and troops and federal marshals remained on the campus
to insure his safety. In June 1963, when Governor George C. Wallace of Alabama
prevented two blacks from enrolling at the University of Alabama, Kennedy
federalized the Alabama National Guard to enforce the law. The students were
enrolled at the university. Three months later, Kennedy again used the National
Guard to prevent Wallace from interfering with integration in the public schools of
Birmingham, Tuskegee, and Mobile. Kennedy also asked
49. Charles Seller s Response To The Market Revolution
Similar to the Industrial Revolution the phrase market revolution is explained in
Charles Sellers s The Market Revolution: Jacksonian America, 1815 1846, which
offers a look at the antebellum period through the rapidly changing market through
cultural, social, and economic perspectives. Sellers describes America s massively
growing capitalist market was history s most revolutionary force, and that this new
push of capitalismwas wresting the American future from history s most conservative
force, the land (Sellers, 4). This change in American culture turned a craft economy to
a more laissez faire market of capitalism. The majority of Americans moved from self
employment and bartering to industrial and factory style work, changing the system
from bartering and trade to an hour and wage system that supported the growing
consumer market. The past handmade items that were low in variety and unique then
turned into items that could be made in a very large and identical capacity for profit.
Further, this market revolution stressed Americans into unparalleled mobilization that
now dictated the lives of everyone swept up in it (Sellers, 4). Sellers explains that the
market promoted a competitive pursuit of wealth by open ended production of
commodity which lured the American people into a false sense of individualism with
each product they amassed (Sellers, 5). This created a new way to project the
American image through the things that were owned. Bushman illustrates
