   Students learn the frase “she/he is wearing...”
    by telling the class what they are wearing
   Then we have a fashion show – everyone says
    what they are wearing
   Their pictures is taken
   They write under their picture what they wore
   Introduction with a picture, vocabulary and a
    song
   Students make a treasure map, draw and write
    a decription
   The maps are made “old” with coffee
   The students present their maps and make a
    pirate hat using directions in English
   Brainstorming about the world of pirates – then
    they make that world
   A message in a bottle??
   Some topics are part of the assessment plan
    and have a final assignments
   The assignments vary for example writing
    assignmetns, presentations and groupwork
   For 5th grade there is a test
   This year the English folder will be graded –
    portfolio
