The White School Interna�onal (TWSI) is a vibrant k-12 residen�al school set across 18 acres of lush tropical greenery in the foothills above
the Chaliyar river in Calicut. Founded by HiLITE group Chairman Mr. P. Sulaiman with the vision of becoming one of the world’s leading
interna�onal schools, TWSI is an IB World School and the only IB Con�nuum School in Kerala, offering IB educa�on from nursery through
to the Diploma Program.
The programs at TWSI are designed to empower students through prac�cal hands-on ac�vity-based learning, focused individually on each
student. Mentors work with each and every student to inspire their curiosity and develop skills, values, and achievements so that by the
�me they graduate they have confidence in who they are and what they have achieved and are ready to take these quali�es out into the
world with them.
Whether they are traveling to Cambridge on an academic exchange trip or to the field in science class to measure pH levels in local water
sources, whether it’s a primary year charity bake sale or a city-wide mini-marathon to benefit cancer vic�ms, students at TWSI learn by
doing and are given opportuni�es to learn more about the world by engaging with it.

MISSION
TWSI aims to facilitate holis�c value based educa�on, encouraging students to
become inquiring, knowledgeable, caring and responsible global ci�zens who can
create a be�er world through intercultural understanding and respect.
The White School Interna�onal’s hands-on learning environment fosters the a�ributes and learning outcomes described in the
IB Learner profile. Each program, ac�vity, and class works to nurture and develop these quali�es in our students to help them
grow and develop to become confident and capable young men and women, ready to take on the world’s biggest challenges.
A child’s earliest years set the stage for a lifetime, and the Early Years
Programme at TWSI provides a strong foundaton for your child’s
social, academic, and emotional well-being. The curriculum devel-
oped in EYP helps young learners begin to understand and relate to
the real world with confidence. Through hands-on activities and
focused individual attention, the program stimulates curiosity,
develops motor skills of the child, and initiates strength in daily-rou-
tine.
We prioritize individual uniqueness and give children space to
explore their learning in their own way, building on foundations of
love, care and respect in a warm and welcoming environment.

IB – EARLY YEARS PROGRAMME
IB – PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME
The Primary Years Program at The White School Interna�onal
supports a childhood driven by crea�vity and explora�on. This is
the stage where founda�onal thinking skills, numeric skills and
literacy are formed as we encourage students to become inquir-
ers and learn beyond the classroom. Children become caring,
lifelong learners, and are taught to demonstrate respect for
them selves as well as others.
The en�re program is designed keeping the local, na�onal and
global perspec�ve and works to develop social, intellectual and
emo�onal skills by engaging them with relevant real world ac�vi-
�es. Students are given opportuni�es to express, explore and
ini�ate opinions on their own and take responsible ac�on.
IB Middle Years Program
(Ages 11-16)
The Middle School
The Middle Years Program (MYP) at TWSI provides a methodical
framework to prepare learners to face the challenges of the 21 st
century, and equips them with the skills and values they will require
to grow personally and academically into well-rounded, confident
young adults who are ready to engage with the world.
Children in the 11-16 year old age group are typically self-conscious
and beginning to nego�ate their own iden�ty vis-a-vis their friends
the world around them, they are looking for recogni�on and need
to build their self-esteem.
It is a crucial age in a child’s development - physically, intellectually,
psychologically. And the MYP at TWSI responds to the needs of
adolescent learners as they seek to learn more about themselves,
about the world, and about their place in it.
MYP Subjects Offered

Arts - Physical and Health Education - Design
The focus of the curriculum is interdisciplinary, and students are
guided to make connec�ons between subject areas.
Learning in MYP is inquiry based, students are encouraged to
ask ques�ons about the world around them and this inquiry is
structured around a Contextual Concept which leads from the
local to na�onal to interna�onal and global pla�orms. Global
issues are made to be understood locally as well. Thus the
teaching and learning is open to explora�on in a way that makes
its relevance clear to the learner.
The Middle Years Program culminates in an independently-fo-
cused and guided personal project. The student produces a
truly personal and crea�ve piece of work in their chosen area
that reflects his/her ability to express their understanding in a
given subject in an original manner.
IB Diploma Program
The Upper School
Ages 16-19
The IB Diploma Program (DP) at The White School Interna�onal
renders a framework for academic rigor and innova�on that
encourages students to challenge themselves and to apply their
broad range and depth of knowledge in the real world. It is highly
regarded by leading colleges and universi�es worldwide for its
challenging curriculum and for predic�ng student success in
higher educa�on. Our teachers inspire DP students to tap into
their cri�cal-thinking skills and personal passions to focus on one
area for in-depth study —one child at a �me, through personal-
ized learning.

ac�vity, and community service through CAS (Crea�vity, Ac�vity,
and Service) requirements on a journey of self discovery.

Prepara�on for University at The White School Interna�onal
begins the moment a student steps foot on campus. Our coun-
selors and academic team work together with students and their
families to guide students to their career goals, by working with
their interests and skills to the development of a strong profile
and applica�on for university admission.
When students reach the Upper School, they will be advised on
everything from career development and course selec�on to
applica�ons and scholarships. Topics covered include: research,
comparison and fit, global op�ons, financial aid, and deadline
management.
TWSI students have interned with Taj Hotels, DC Books, Al Salama
Group of Ins�tu�ons, HiLITE Group and other reputable firms. We
assist in finding work experience and exposure through internship
programmes.

  • 2. The White School Interna�onal (TWSI) is a vibrant k-12 residen�al school set across 18 acres of lush tropical greenery in the foothills above the Chaliyar river in Calicut. Founded by HiLITE group Chairman Mr. P. Sulaiman with the vision of becoming one of the world’s leading interna�onal schools, TWSI is an IB World School and the only IB Con�nuum School in Kerala, offering IB educa�on from nursery through to the Diploma Program. The programs at TWSI are designed to empower students through prac�cal hands-on ac�vity-based learning, focused individually on each student. Mentors work with each and every student to inspire their curiosity and develop skills, values, and achievements so that by the �me they graduate they have confidence in who they are and what they have achieved and are ready to take these quali�es out into the world with them. Whether they are traveling to Cambridge on an academic exchange trip or to the field in science class to measure pH levels in local water sources, whether it’s a primary year charity bake sale or a city-wide mini-marathon to benefit cancer vic�ms, students at TWSI learn by doing and are given opportuni�es to learn more about the world by engaging with it.

Each program, ac�vity, and class works to nurture and develop these quali�es in our students to help them grow and develop to become confident and capable young men and women, ready to take on the world’s biggest challenges.
  • 5. A child’s earliest years set the stage for a lifetime, and the Early Years Programme at TWSI provides a strong foundaton for your child’s social, academic, and emotional well-being. The curriculum devel- oped in EYP helps young learners begin to understand and relate to the real world with confidence. Through hands-on activities and focused individual attention, the program stimulates curiosity, develops motor skills of the child, and initiates strength in daily-rou- tine. We prioritize individual uniqueness and give children space to explore their learning in their own way, building on foundations of love, care and respect in a warm and welcoming environment.   • 6. IB – PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME The Primary Years Program at The White School Interna�onal supports a childhood driven by crea�vity and explora�on. This is the stage where founda�onal thinking skills, numeric skills and literacy are formed as we encourage students to become inquir- ers and learn beyond the classroom. Children become caring, lifelong learners, and are taught to demonstrate respect for them selves as well as others. The en�re program is designed keeping the local, na�onal and global perspec�ve and works to develop social, intellectual and emo�onal skills by engaging them with relevant real world ac�vi- �es. Students are given opportuni�es to express, explore and ini�ate opinions on their own and take responsible ac�on.

IB Middle Years Program (Ages 11-16) The Middle School The Middle Years Program (MYP) at TWSI provides a methodical framework to prepare learners to face the challenges of the 21 st century, and equips them with the skills and values they will require to grow personally and academically into well-rounded, confident young adults who are ready to engage with the world. Children in the 11-16 year old age group are typically self-conscious and beginning to nego�ate their own iden�ty vis-a-vis their friends the world around them, they are looking for recogni�on and need to build their self-esteem. It is a crucial age in a child’s development - physically, intellectually, psychologically. And the MYP at TWSI responds to the needs of adolescent learners as they seek to learn more about themselves, about the world, and about their place in it.

MYP Subjects Offered Language Acquisition - Language and literature - Individuals and Societies, Sciences - Mathematics - Arts - Physical and Health Education - Design The focus of the curriculum is interdisciplinary, and students are guided to make connec�ons between subject areas. Learning in MYP is inquiry based, students are encouraged to ask ques�ons about the world around them and this inquiry is structured around a Contextual Concept which leads from the local to na�onal to interna�onal and global pla�orms. Global issues are made to be understood locally as well. Thus the teaching and learning is open to explora�on in a way that makes its relevance clear to the learner. The Middle Years Program culminates in an independently-fo- cused and guided personal project. The student produces a truly personal and crea�ve piece of work in their chosen area that reflects his/her ability to express their understanding in a given subject in an original manner.

IB Diploma Program The Upper School Ages 16-19 The IB Diploma Program (DP) at The White School Interna�onal renders a framework for academic rigor and innova�on that encourages students to challenge themselves and to apply their broad range and depth of knowledge in the real world.   • 11. The Upper School University Placement & Counseling Prepara�on for University at The White School Interna�onal begins the moment a student steps foot on campus. Our coun- selors and academic team work together with students and their families to guide students to their career goals, by working with their interests and skills to the development of a strong profile and applica�on for university admission. When students reach the Upper School, they will be advised on everything from career development and course selec�on to applica�ons and scholarships. Topics covered include: research, comparison and fit, global op�ons, financial aid, and deadline management. TWSI students have interned with Taj Hotels, DC Books, Al Salama Group of Ins�tu�ons, HiLITE Group and other reputable firms.
