CURRICULUM
The curriculum is designed as an
interdisciplinary approach to plan instructions
for students. The social studies curriculum is the
central thread that everything else is framed off
of. Inquiry based activities are used on a daily
basis so that students are involved in problem
solving, math, science and engineering activities.
Our Inquiry based activities help students use
communication and collaboration skills.
TECHNOLOGY INCORPORATED INTO THE INSTRUCTIONS
The students use the smart tablets for collaboration and
communication activities.
I pads are used for small group activities with guidance from
the teacher.
Students use MAC computers to create a movie on
immigration.
USEFUL TIPS
Set goals and work together with parents and
students to get the best work from students.
Use what technology students have at home to
have a better influence on them using in the
classroom such as smartphones, computers,
and I Pads.
Have 21st Century Skills mindset.

Project based learning uses a dynamic approach in which students
actively explore real world problems and challenges and
acquire a deeper knowledge through learning.
A+ is what opened the door to 21st century learning at Meadow
View. It was first taught to staff who then delivered it to
students. The A+ school program is a whole school reform
model that view the arts as fundamental to teaching and
learning in all subjects.
A+ combined interdisciplinary teaching and daily art instructions
that offered students opportunities to develop creative,
innovative ways of thinking, learning and showing what they
have learned.
