The survey found that nearly half of respondents own a wearable device, with wristbands, earbuds and smart watches being most common. Accuracy was rated as the most important feature. While many wearable owners found step counting and heart rate monitoring useful, over half of non-owners would consider a wearable if it accurately monitored advanced health metrics like stress, blood pressure and hydration. Common reasons for discontinuing use included devices being too much of a hassle to charge, not accurate enough, or uncomfortable to wear.
