I think the most accurate difference between Hamlet
and Oedipus on the perception and reality was their
fate
I believe the main difference between hamlet and
Oedipus was the intentionality

Hamlet and Oedipus don’t know at the beginning of stories
both of the tragic heroes had issues with their families
Both are excited about revenge in terms of goals
Hamlet and Oedipus were motivated by the goal
They were both deceived by their parents
Both have a goal but end up with death

Hamlet hoped to kill his uncle, because of an
incestuous relationship with his mother he feels
deceived from both of them thus “acts” out as
revenge both hamlet and Oedipus had a goal ,
whish was to kill the former king for their own motive
7. CONCLUSION
Both hamlet and Oedipus are on the quest to find
the truth . They are both on a mission to find the killer
of their fathers while discoveringTheirs fathers. As
Hamlet seeks revenge as he struggles with the idea of
killing Claudius, Oedipus offers himself to find and
prosecutea laiusl’s murderer.
