Laura, who runs a global
corporation wants to
find a way to have
meetings in Tokyo and
London on the same
day so that she can
keep her travel time to a
minimum.
26. Go on...
Here’s a story that will surprise
you...
I was working closely with colleagues
across 3 different continents.
Travelling to different offices got increasingly frustrating
and draining. When I wasn’t travelling, I had no energy to
be with my colleagues in my own office!
I discovered “VoiceAway” (a voice-based video
conference system), which made it easy to arrange and
connect with my colleagues whenever, wherever. No
more frustrations about the constant travelling and failing
video-conferencing systems!!! I feel so much more
engaged with my team now!
27. ? Busy professionals are pressured for time
They work in global organisations
They need to speak to people to understand
what’s happening to make business decisions
Travelling costs time and money
They can only be in one place at once

used to have on the wall in one of my previous companies: “If
something goes wrong, blame Marc Abraham” (followed by
my signature)

If anything goes
wrong, blame Marc...

...ask (stupid) questions
...agree on features to (not) include
...act as a shield for the team
...make tough tradeoff decisions
