- Question – Does anyways know what radiation therapy is, or what a radiation therapist does? Radiation therapy is a type of treatment modality which utilizes high energy xrays to treat cancer patients. The radiation therapist is the individual who actually delivers the treatment to malignant and benign diseases using various ionizing radiations. Responsibilities include following prescribed treatment plans, maintaining accurate records, and providing care and support to the patients and their families. 1 of only 3 RTT programs in the state Aprx 30K therapists in the Nation. Employment of radiation therapists is projected to grow 13 percent from 2016 to 2026, faster than the average compared to other occupations. NU serves the entire state of California Campuses in Costa Mesa, San Diego and Rancho Cordova Due to small field, program small size must be maintain accurate numbers to ensure employment and to not oversaturate the market. Currently have aprx 25 clinical sites between OC, LA, SD and Sacramento County National standards prove this to be a larger program with programs at larger universities like Ohio state and UNC only having between 5-12 students total According to the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiation Therapy, there are only 36 Bachelor Degree Programs in the Nation. AT NATIONAL UNIVERSITY Program Inception 2012 Cohort 1 - 5 students Cohort 6 - 18 students

I think generally speaking, they’re always willing to try out something new if you’re willing to change things up sometimes. These apps and activities are free, low-tech, high-impact and can work with the synchronous applications we work in: Blackboard Ultra, Collaborate, Adobe Connect, Zoom—Face to Face.
