Kid driver narration explaining his weird
life
narration continues while however
there is now some dialogue showing his
reationship with his dad
that story switches to the girl and her
brother showing their lives without
dialogue- just music and the kids
narration talking to us from the future

Montage of Dad driving taxi annoyed
with kid’s voiceover
We see son organizing everything in his
house to be perfect (montage)
Dad returns home and asks for keys to
car
Dad says that it is fine but he must be
back in 30 minutes
Son drives off

Sound of a cat falling over crates outside
The son has insomnia, cannot sleep
He gets outside, sleepy
He steals car keys from dad’s room
He gets in the car and starts driving, sticking head
out of window to feel the fresh air
He gets a call over radio and decides to take it
6. The final idea
(mutually agreed)
The shot starts by showcasing the each character getting ready for their night
out.
The kid driver gets shown getting in an argument with his dad and we see him
getting upset.-all with non diagetic music and without the ability to the
audience to hear their dialogue.
The screen slipts into two, showing the brother and how he’s getting ready for
the night- cologne, hair, texting girls.
The screen then splits into three, showing the girl getting ready.
The screen shows all three people with only music.
5 hours later text on the screen.
We see them getting into the car.
Snipbits of teevents prior are shown-music,party,dispair,chaos.
Back to the car.
Full events prior to the car seen are shown later in the film.
