2. Photo story assignment 1-
Create a photo story entitled “The Meeting” using range of pre-determined and specific shots in order to visually
depict a simple story line.
For our AS Level Media Studies course work, our main focus was to visually showcase our knowledge and
understanding of industry recognisable camera shots as well as compositional and narrative mainstream
structures.
3. Project Synopsis
Teenage girl is waiting for her long-term boyfriend in the park, knowing he cheated
on her.
She looks nervous and text messages her friend asking for advice. Her boyfriend
enters the park, carrying a flower bouquet, not knowing that his girlfriend knows
what he had done. He comes from behind the bench, kisses her and gives her the
bouquet. He sits down and they start talking. She breaks up with him and hits him
with the flowers. He is left alone, watching her leave, while the flowers are laying on
the ground.
