2. INTRODUCTION
2
The environment is the conservation form of abiotic and
biotic factors which formulate a surrounding. The
environment is the main source of tourism attraction
resources. The environment is important for living as well as
for sustaining different tourism activities. The loss of the
environment means the loss of nature and tourism resources.
The environment is the most powerful magnet to attract
tourists. Tourism practices help to increase the value of nature
and resources but at the same time, tourism practices also
have a negative impact on the environment.

Based on my presentation, the impact of tourism on the
environment is given below
1) Threatens natural resources
The maximum flow of tourists in
particular areas and overuse of
tourism resources create a threat
to natural resources as the
destination will be unable to hold
the number of tourists and cannot
fulfill the demand of the tourists.

2)Unplanned urbanization
After getting benefits from tourism
in certain places, there is the
chance of migration and temporary
shifting of people for business and
facilities. Such actions increase the
scarcity of services and facilities by
which unplanned urbanization
occurs giving pressure to nature
and natural resources.

3)Poaching of rare natural
resources (Birds and animals)
Different birds and animals are
the prime attraction resources of
any place for tourism operations.
But after the tourism practices,
some illegal things from the
tourism practices may increase
such as poaching rare birds and
animals.

4)Overcrowded areas
Uncontrolled tourist flow in
destinations creates overcrowded
helps to destroy the natural
environment and creates a loss of
originality for those resources.
Practicing tourism in any destination
must be within control and the
carrying capacity of a destination.

5)Loss of natural habitat of
plants, animals, birds, etc.
When tourism practices are
operated in tourist areas,
uncontrolled practices will create
unsuitable situations to survive for
natural resources like plants, birds,
animals, and other living things.
Uncontrolled urbanization,
uncontrolled tourism practices, etc.
create the loss of those resources

6)Pollution
The direct impact of tourism seen in
the environment after the flow of
tourists is pollution .Pollution
destroys the physical environment
of nature. Disposal from tourists
and haphazard throws of tourists in
public places disfigure the
environment as well as nature.
