3. Introduction
It was an interesting project , I’d learn a lot from this project as
I have to know almost everything to built a good city that attract
people to live in. I did researches on past , present and future city
which related with underground.
In addition , I realized that taking care of environment is very
important task. Human will pay the consequences for what we did for
the pollution today…

ancient underground city in the world.
3.2 The city I’m concentrating is Derinkuyu .
3.3 Derinkuyu can hold up to 15,000 residents underground and it
have 600 doors with storage room. The builder of the city is still
remain mystery as it’s build with supreme technology , some people
or scientist think it’s alien.

exchange !

6. Studies of Present City
4.1 In 1962 , the first underground shopping center Place Ville-Marie
had been designed by I.M.Pei.
4.2 I chosen Montreal it’s because Montreal is a present underground
city. It stretches for 33 kilometers beneath.
4.3 According to official static of the www.aviewoncities.com , its
corridor of Montreal underground city linked up 10 metro stations, 2
bus terminals, 1,200 offices, about 2,000 stores including 2 major
department stores, approximately 1,600 housing units, 200
restaurants, 40 banks, 40 movie theatres and other entertainment
venues, 7 major hotels, the University of Quebec at Montreal campus
and the University of Montreal, Olympic Park, Place des Arts, a
cathedral, the Bell Centre (home of the Montreal Canadiens), and 3
exhibition halls: the Place Bonaventure, the Convention Centre (Palais

8. Studies of Future City
5.1 I’d study about ‘The Hive’ from the video game ‘ Resident Evil’
5.2 ‘The Hive’ was build by Umbrella cooperation which developing
biological weapon. Raccoon city was built underground to keep the
specimen save and hiding it from government.

9. 5.3 The Hive was built far beneath the Raccoon city for development
of biological weapon.
5.4 The Hive only have one exit and entrance , it don’t have
emergency exit purposely to keep the experiment classified .
5.5 I’d learned a lot within studying this city , it gave me a lot of idea
of the design of my city.

10. The ‘X’ City
6.1 At the end of 2033rd , total population on our planet , Earth have
exceed the maximum population and government are taking action
to execute less economy supported people to control the population.
6.2 American’s rebellion had took their part to taking over the
government and I’m the rebellion leader of Malaysia. I proposed an
underground city to solve the problem peacefully.
6.3 Most of Malaysian are unemployed although they have great skill
on something. They need more job opportunity and food.
6.4 They just simply need a shelter and food to settle them.

12. The Hive
7.1 I came up the idea combining the design of honey bee comb with
ant colony. I took the design of honey bee comb but built it
underground.
7.2 It is underground because the we’r sort of land , the cheapest and
easiest way is go underground.

25. Conclusion
Building a city isn’t a easy task , trouble come to us all the way.
Yet , no matter how hard is it , there will be a solution. I also practice
critical thinking for during this project , for example what if landslide
happen , what if the river over float.
We always complaining about the city we live in , we never be
thankful and from now on I appreciate those effort they put to built
the city , built house even building for better tomorrow !
