2. Week 1
For the first week I started by talking with my partners about what sort of audience
we should target while also looking at other social medias and how the target their
specific audiences. Over the week I made PowerPoint on how other big company's
target different audiences and helped decide on our target audience being skaters/
the skate community.
3. Week 2
This week we started planning our website with
content and looking at other products that would have
a similar audience, this allowed us to get a better idea
and look into what our outcome will look similar to.
This also helped us look into what sort of media we
should include on ours and different styles or
aesthetics that could look good in what we make. We
also got onto starting to plan what we would film and
how we would spend our upcoming time in
production.

5. Week 3
This week we started production I made sure I got clips before this week
started so I could start edits in class time and filming outside of class
time. I started by finding a song to edit to this wasn’t too hard as I already
had ideas. Then I added a few clips and started editing. At this stage it
was really just videos back to back no edits or transitions. I then finished
the first part Tyler's part as this was the easiest. I found his the easiest as
all the clips were clean and there wasn’t that much editing that needed
to be done. On top of this he wasn’t going to get the name edits the
other two skaters got which actually was what took up most my time.
6. Week 4
2nd week of production this was a struggle. It started pretty simple adding and editing all the rest of the clips
into the other two parts. Then lining up all the clips to the music. After this I learnt how to use tracking on
aftereffects and a load of other skills along the way. I edited two big transition James's name which wiped away
as he skated Infront and Ethan's name which appears on the bottom of his board as he does a trick. These two
transition probably took up about two days of work just learning how to use aftereffects. At the end of the week
though I managed to get it finished however and started editing some photos that can also go on the website.
7. Week 5
This was the last week in which I spent
cleaning everything up and finishing
anything I didn’t already have done. On top
of this we had to put together our website
and get a look at what the final outcome
will look like. Once everything was done
we then moved onto evaluation and here
we are now. Overall I think this project
went quite good and we managed to hit
the deadline.
8. Overall Evaluation
As a group we managed to get all the work ready and done in time for the deadline which first of all is a
positive. The products I worked on personally I am really happy with. The video being the main part of my work
as it is what I specialise in and the rest of the group are more print based. I really liked the outcome of my
video even though it took me so long. I feel like all the edits look clean and music fits the skaters style and stays
on time throughout. I didn’t include and big edits other than names however if I had longer or maybe even in
my fmp I want to add characters around the video which would take a while to learn but would look very cool
in my opinion. The thing that took me the longest during this piece of work was the name edits as I went into it
with no idea how to use aftereffects. This means I had to learn how stick words onto surfaces the first being
easy as it was on a big flat wall which allowed me to start to understand it. Then the last one took the longest
as I edited on the underside of one of the skaters boards meaning I had to do it free hand if I wanted it to look
good meaning I had to go frame by frame keeping it in the right place. Even though they took a while I am
happy with the final outcome of both of them and will more then likely use it in my fmp as it will show all my
different skills.
