4. Answers A1.Stirrings are emotions that were created in Jonas’s head during one of his dreams that he had had. This was one of his first feelings that was deep. For not letting the stirrings stay or come back a pill is taken. This pill prevents stirrings from being felt by the person. A2.The ceremony of Ones is also known as the Naming as each child is given a name and is given to parents who had applied for children.

The ceremony of release is a process when a person who is very old is released and here it is suggested sent to another community. A4.The ceremony of Eights is when a jacket with smaller buttons is given. The jacket also has a small pocket which is to be shown that they can now keep track of their small belongings. A5.the ceremony of nines is when every nine gets their own bicycle and cycle straight away as their older brothers or sisters always teach them before the ceremony
