The G20 New Delhi Summit will be chaired by the Indian Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi.
India's presidency began on 1 December 2022, leading up to the summit in the third quarter of 2023. The presidency handover ceremony was held as an intimate event, in which the G20 Presidency gavel was transferred from Indonesian President Joko Widodo to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the close of the Bali summit. Indonesia held the presidency in 2022.[8]
The India’s G20 Presidency would guide the work of the G20 under the theme of - “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” or “One Earth · One Family · One Future” - drawn from the Sanskrit phrase of the Maha Upanishad , which means "The World Is One Family". Essentially, the theme affirms the value of all life – human, animal, plant, and microorganisms – and their interconnectedness on the planet Earth and in the wider universe.
G20 India has put forth six agenda priorities for the G20 dialogue in 2023:-
Green Development, Climate Finance & LiFE
Accelerated, Inclusive & Resilient Growth
Accelerating progress on SDGs

This presentation discusses cyber security. It begins by defining cyber security and noting the increased security threats as more people go online. It then addresses what cyber security is, why it is needed, common security problems like viruses, hackers, malware and password cracking. The presentation provides information on each of these threats and offers solutions on how to implement and maintain cyber security. It concludes by emphasizing that cyber security is everyone's responsibility.
The document discusses global warming and its causes, effects, and potential solutions. It provides background on the greenhouse effect and how increased greenhouse gases are trapping heat in the atmosphere and causing the planet to warm. Some effects that are already occurring include melting ice, rising sea levels, and shifting animal populations and seasons. If warming continues unchecked, impacts could include more extreme weather, water shortages, spread of diseases, and damage to ecosystems. The document explores potential solutions like transitioning to renewable energy sources, improving efficiency, and carbon sequestration to reduce emissions and stabilize the climate. It notes that nuclear power could help lower carbon dioxide emissions by replacing fossil fuel plants but has its own risks to consider.
This document provides an overview of the history and rules of cricket. It begins with background on the sport's origins in 16th century England and discusses key events in its development. Women empowerment involves giving women certain rights, authority, and power. It is important because historically in India women have faced discrimination and lack of access to basic rights and resources. Empowering women can help address issues like lack of education, financial constraints, and social norms that limit women's roles. Efforts to promote empowerment include providing education, job training, microfinance programs, and ensuring legal rights and political participation. As a result of these efforts, more women now have access to education, legal protections, leadership roles, and income generating opportunities. However, full empowerment requires continued progress in overcoming challenges.

Purvanchal is a region in northern India encompassing parts of eastern Uttar Pradesh. It faces issues of underdevelopment, poverty, and political exploitation. The region lacks infrastructure and basic amenities despite its natural resources and cultural significance. There are calls for creating a separate Purvanchal state to allow for decentralized governance and development of the region's potential through focused investment in infrastructure and social services. The region remains in a state of transition due to dual economies, mass poverty, lack of infrastructure development, and interference from politicians more interested in personal gain than regional growth.
