Relationship!
❁Don't you just love how Jesus makes
this personal! “Your Father!” 30 & 32!
❁This relationship is the highest and
greatest this side of life! That is why this
relationship should always be the most
important!

7. Adopted into the
family!
❁Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of
bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit
of adoption by whom we cry out, "Abba, Father."
(Gal. 4:6)
❁Abba Father!
❁Mk 14:36 And He said, "Abba, Father, all
things are possible for You. Take this cup
away from Me; nevertheless, not what I will,
but what You will." (Cf. Lk. 23:46)

8. From sinner to
saint!
❁Rom 5:8 But God demonstrates His own
love toward us, in that while we were still
sinners, Christ died for us.

dead in trespasses and sins.

Responsibilty!
❁What does a father do for his children?
❁He “provides!”
❁He “protects!”
❁He is “proud!”
❁Lk. 12:30-31 "For all these things the nations of
the world seek after, and your Father knows that
you need these things. "But seek the kingdom of
God, and all these things shall be added to you."

10. A good, good
Father!
❁Mt 7:11 “If you then, being evil, know how to
give good gifts to your children, how much more
will your Father who is in heaven give good
things to those who ask Him!”
❁Js 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift
is from above, and comes down from the Father
of lights, with whom there is no variation or
shadow of turning.

11. Don't make me call
my Father!
❁With us understanding that God is our
Heavenly Father and we are His children,
how often do we spend time with Him?
❁Hearing from Him?
❁Talking to Him?
❁Jesus often took time to go to the Father
in prayer!

12. III. Our Role!
❁Seek the Kingdom!
❁Lk 12:31 “But seek the kingdom of God, and
all these things shall be added to you.”
❁Mt 6:33 “But seek first the kingdom of God
and His righteousness, and all these things
shall be added to you.”
❁Mt 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek,
and you will find; knock, and it will be opened
to you.”

13. Becoming a
Seeker!
❁Heb 11:6 But without faith it is
impossible to please Him, for he who
comes to God must believe that He is, and
that He is a rewarder of those who
diligently seek Him.
❁What are we looking for? What are we
longing for? What are we going after in
life?

14. Conclusion:
❁Truly God is the most wonderful Father of all!
❁Have you been saved by grace and added to
God’s family? Have you come to trust Him with
your salvation?
❁Is God more than your Creator and Maker?
Is He also your Father and Friend?
❁If not, then today is the day to come to know
the best Father of all!
