The document discusses Six Sigma implementation across various industries in the MENA region. It provides rankings of industries and countries implementing Six Sigma, as well as examples of common Six Sigma projects implemented in sectors like manufacturing, healthcare, banking, telecom, and others. Implementation trends, models, success factors, and the number of Six Sigma certified professionals in Egypt are also examined. Overall, the document presents an overview of Six Sigma adoption in the Middle East and North Africa region across different industries.
Most organizations today have at least one, if not several, ‘digital transformation’ initiatives underway. What was considered leading edge 5 years ago is fast becoming an exercise in survival with recent polls indicating that 70%+ of US based companies plan to introduce a new digital technology platform, digitize their products (i.e. physical, software, and hybrid) and/or digitize their innovation management processes. As expected, some organizations are succeeding while many are struggling. What are the successful organizations doing differently? Stage-Gate International has been helping organizations digitize their innovations and their innovation management processes for 12+ years through an open software certification program launched in 2007 called Stage-Gate® Ready (digital technologies certified by innovation experts).
This article demystifies digital transformation and explores what a successful journey looks like when you use the Stage-Gate Framework, its Innovation Maturity Model and its culture change-enabling principles to manage the three most common types of digital initiatives.
Sysdoc is a specialist consultancy which delivers business transformation and change which is successful and sustainable.
In this presentation, we will look at Lean Six Sigma.
What it is, its principles and methodologies will all be discussed as we “demystify” Lean Six Sigma.
Project Management the TOC Way Combining Critical Chain Project Management and the 5 Focusing Steps for astounding results.
The combination of Critical Chain Project Management and the Theory Of Constraints’ 5 focusing steps enable extraordinary results to be obtained in an unbelievably short time.
Capacity constraints in project portfolios can be identified immediately (Step 1) and exploited (Step 2) so as to instantaneously produce 2 or 3 times more (productivity & Throughput multiplied by >2).
Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) can simultaneously put all projects under control, provide excellent visibility, reduce project durations by over 40%...and finish nearly all projects on time. Several recent case studies will be used to provide practical examples.
If you think all projects are doomed to be painful semi-failures, think again. If you are looking to boost your growth you need to boost your project performance, this conference will explain how easy this could be.
There are many different versions of a process, depending on your perception of the overall procedure.
For example, what the manual says will happen is going to often be a world apart from what the manager thinks happens, and what really happens.
With this in mind, it is vital to understand the procedures in place.
If you don’t understand what your process is, how will you manage it?
After all, process quality is what differentiates world class businesses from the rest.

Achievements and Lessons Learned Introducing Large Scaled Agile DevelopmentWolfgang Richter
Presentation given at the Agile Austria Conference 2017 in Graz.
Track: Scaling Agile
"Achievements and Lessons Learned Introducing Large Scaled Agile Development"
Speakers: Stefan Wunder & Robert Dietze
The Agile Business Gap is created in medium to large organisations when "Agile" is initiated by an organisations development team. The first part of this Gap is just terminology where "agile" to a business has the dictionary meaning of "able to move quickly and easily" while "Agile" to a software development team has a very different meaning. The next part of the Gap is exposed as an "Agile" development team starts to demand a different way of operating beyond the development function and impacts everything from product management activities, business case development, financial planning, marketing messaging and operational planning.
"Agile" development is very effective at delivering smaller usable parts of a product to the market in shorter time frames, yet these shorter timeframes are not immediately compatible with the rest of the enterprise.
