The Dynobots
The Artists Image
• The artist will have a Indy look and feel to
them with links to other Indy artists kind of
styles but still having their own unique look
and music genre.
• We intend to look at pushing it into the rock
Indy scene as there is a cross over between
their styles of music.
Web Design
• Their web page will use minimalist design
features with small but large hinting images
such as their band logo of the five “Dynobots”.
• We will use social networking websites such as
Facebook, Myspace, and Bebo to get the
music out there and heard by the audience.
• We will use the internet as a marketing vehicle
for our upcoming tours and gigs.
Publicity and Advertising
• We will use prize
giveaways such as the
band signed guitar or
free CD’s.
• We will also sell things
such as t-shirts, key
rings and bracelets with
the bands name or logo
on.
Gigs and Tours
• We will promote ourselves by offering free
gigs at bars and any other venues, especially
Indie venues. This is where our target
audience would be.
Any Alliances Suggested or any already
forged?
• At the moment we are a small Indie band so
have not got any alliances just yet with other
bands. But we are looking to form some with
other Indie bands , such as Slam Cartel. Once
we have formed an alliance with a band we
will use it to help us by holding joint gigs and
maybe a joint album, then maybe split off
when we have become more well known.
How we propose to get the press
involved
• When our album is released we are planning
to do a signing at gigs and at our tours which
the press can be present and will also be
giving interviews in the day.
• At the moment we are in local newspapers
and local magazines. We hope to progress
onto larger more widely recognised music
magazines such as Kerrang.
Our Exact target audience
• Our target audience is anyone over the age of
18 ( due to explicit content) Who is into Indie
music. We are aiming at people who will turn
up to gigs. This is one of the main ways that
we are going to market our band. This will
encourage the audience of our music to go
and buy the album rather than just
downloading it illegally off of pirate websites.
How will the merchandising work
• Wherever we go to perform a gig there will be
a merchandise stall available . This will be run
by official venders at the venue which means
we may loose a cut in the profit we are still
being promoted. The funds raised from the
merchandise will help go towards the
promotion of the band and any other hidden
costs.
What sort of CD and other art styles
and ideas have we got?
• How will The
Merchandise extend
the brand image
• Our art work is of five
“Dynobots” which is
our bands logo and
represents each five
members in the band;
this will be a well
known image and the
audience will know
where it comes from
when they see it.
