Jude warns his readers about false teachers who have infiltrated the church. These teachers twist God's grace to allow sinful behavior and deny Jesus as Lord. Jude cites three examples from the Old Testament of God's judgment against unbelievers: the unfaithful Israelites in the wilderness, fallen angels who abandoned their proper dwelling, and the corrupt cities of Sodom and Gomorrah. Jude urges believers to understand these examples so they can recognize and resist false teachers within the church.

8 Critical Success Factorsfor Lead GenerationGil.B
Until now, "lead generation" was associated with direct mail campaigns, sometimes supported by a flashy website, sporadic trade show appearances, intense email blasts or stabs at telemarketing, but with very little, if any, special attention brought to bear on the complex sale.
Meanwhile, marketers are constantly reminded that the company needs more sales leads NOW. Unfortunately, that immediacy often means sacrificing quality for sheer quantity.
A flood of ordinary, low-quality leads doesn\'t mean better sales - so why waste your time? The challenge is to adopt lead generation programs that will increase the odds of creating better sales leads, ultimately resulting in long-term, happy and profitable customers.

An unknown author wrote,“Most of Jude is a scathing denunciation of false teachers—the smoke almost rises from its pages. The denunciation is sandwiched between two short, three-verse sections in which he exhorts them to faith and love. One of the factors that nearly kept it out of the canon was that Jude quotes two passages from apocryphal books, "The Assumption of Moses" and "The Book of Enoch," both of which were written between the writing of Malachi and beginning of the New Testament. Though they were apocryphal, Jude has no problem quoting
passages from them.”

In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

The Danger
of False Teachers
Insights From Jude
W hat is the biggest threat to the
church today? Do the most
serious dangers lurk in the culture?
Or perhaps somewhere closer to home?
One of the shortest books of the Bible
gives us an answer to those questions. Jude, the
26th book of the New Testament, sounds an
alarm about false teachers that Christ repeated
in His last words to the church (REV. 2:1–3:22).
