The Internet of Things (IoT) presents a rapidly growing opportunity for companies in the technology space. However, the ecosystem of the IoT is complex, fragmented and has many dimensions (products, services, companies, geographies). Claro Partners recently completed a project to understand the Internet of Things landscape as it stands now, and to identify opportunity spaces within it. Platform Plus Agile
The Department of Health & Human Services in Australia had lost its "digital mojo" but was able to get it back by adopting a platform and agile approach. They developed over 15 digital systems using this approach, including systems for client incident management, emergency assistance payments, housing applications, and more. By using platforms and APIs, they were able to build these systems faster, with less risk, and in a more sustainable way. This platform and agile approach helped the department boost its productivity in digital transformation efforts.
