The Alcazaba of Almería was a fortified military defense structure built by the Arabs in the town of Almería, the capital of the province of the same name in Andalusia, Spain. The Alcazaba has three sections - an ancient burial site containing dwellings, a small Arab town with houses, a mosque, baths and reservoirs, and a third section built by Catholic Kings protected by three semi-circle towers and a moat accessible by a drawbridge.
