This document outlines the 8 prayer watches, which divide a 24-hour period into 3-hour shifts for focused prayer. Each watch has a specific prayer focus, such as supplication, revelation, spiritual warfare, protection, and breaking up fallow ground. Drawing from biblical passages and ancient Jewish tradition, maintaining these prayer watches establishes "watchmen on the wall" who continuously pray and put God in remembrance of His promises through their intercession.

2. Your prayer watch
• Neh 4: 9 – Watch in Hebrew is shamar and means to see, to
keep guard, keep watch, ward, protect, wait for and to retain.
• All intercessors should have a “shamar” watch – When you feel
compelled to pray or a deep sense of unction from the Holy
Spirit to pray.
• We need to partner with the Holy Spirit to stand in the gap.
• We are in need to disrupt & dismantle the plans of the enemy.
• We are needed to open up the gates and portals for the great
things of God to take its place on the earth.

3. 8 Prayer Watches = 24 hours
• Gen 1 : 5 - the split of time.
• Mark 6 ; 48 - identification of the prayer watches.
• In ancient Israel, watches were set out in 3 hour shifts, beginning at sundown/sunset.
• Each of the watches had its own prayer assignment and area of strategic
intercession.
