In Christ You Are... part 7 (Sharers in the Victory)
1. Luke 24:1-3
On the first day of the week, very early in the
morning, the women took the spices they had
prepared and went to the tomb. They found the
stone rolled away from the tomb, but when they
entered, they did not find the body of the Lord
Jesus.

2. Luke 24:4-5
While they were wondering about this, suddenly
two men in clothes that gleamed like lightning
stood beside them. In their fright the women
bowed down with their faces to the ground, but
the men said to them, ‘Why do you look for the
living among the dead?

3. Luke 24:6-8
He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he
told you, while he was still with you in Galilee:
‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the
hands of sinful men, be crucified and on the
third day be raised again.’” Then they
remembered his words.

4. Luke 24:9-10
When they came back from the tomb, they told
all these things to the Eleven and to all the
others. It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary
the mother of James, and the others with them
who told this to the apostles.

5. Luke 24:11-12
But they did not believe the women, because
their words seemed to them like nonsense.
Peter, however, got up and ran to the tomb.
Bending over, he saw the strips of linen lying by
themselves, and he went away, wondering to
himself what had happened.

6. Ephesians 6:10-12
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty
power. Put on the full armor of God so that you
can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood,
but against the rulers, against the authorities,
against the powers of this dark world and against
the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

7. Ephesians 6:13-14
Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that
when the day of evil comes, you may be able to
stand your ground, and after you have done
everything, to stand. Stand firm then, with the
belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the
breastplate of righteousness in place,

and with your feet fitted with the readiness that
comes from the gospel of peace. In addition to
all this, take up the shield of faith, with which
you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the
evil one.

9. Ephesians 6:17-18
Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of
the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in
the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of
prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert
and always keep on praying for all the saints.

10. Ephesians 6:19-20
Pray also for me, that whenever I open my
mouth, words may be given me so that I will
fearlessly make known the mystery of the
gospel, for which I am an ambassador in chains.
Pray that I may declare it fearlessly, as I should.

11. Easter reminds us the outcome
has already been DETERMINED;
the victory won.
Jesus told the disciples that he
would die and rise again, but
they believed they had LOST
We have what they didn’t. We
already KNOW how it went
down.
His victory over the grave has implications beyond “FIRE
INSURANCE”.
12. Walking in victory is a choice to do life
TOGETHER.
The PRESENCE of strength is not the
same as the EXERCISE of strength.
Be strong IN the Lord.
It isn’t simply about who CHRIST is, but who CHRIST is in
us.
13. Walking in victory starts with your
relationship to Jesus, but you also need
to PREPARE for the battle.
He doesn’t say to put on what is
comfortable, but the FULL armor.
We need to understand the NATURE of the battle.
It is PERSONAL.
At the heart of the battle is a battle for your HEART.
