   A tool aligned with the Long Range Plan for
    Technology, 2006-2020 to aid in the following:
    ◦ Technology Planning
    ◦ Budgeting for Resources
    ◦ Evaluation of Progress

   An online tool to allow all stakeholders to view the
    technology readiness of all campuses across the
    state of Texas.
   Create/update the district’s technology plan.

   Help conceptualize your campus or district vision
    of technology.

   Set goals for the district or campus.

   Measure student and teacher proficiencies with
    regard to the integration of technology across all
    content areas.
   Four Key Areas for Rating:
    ◦   Teaching and Learning
    ◦   Educator Preparation and Development
    ◦   Leadership, Administration, and Instructional Support
    ◦   Infrastructure for Technology


   The above areas are rated based on the following
    Levels of Progress:
    ◦   Early Tech
    ◦   Developing Tech
    ◦   Advanced Tech
    ◦   Target Tech
   Teachers can complete the survey by visiting
    www.tea.state.tx.us/starchart

   The information that is received from a campus is
    submitted for district summary data.

    ◦ Determine the school year you would like to review
    ◦ Type in your district name (i.e. Clear Creek)
    ◦ Then select “Simple Search” (do not type in your
