What is the STaR Chart? It is a survey designed to measure technological and  professional progress and growth toward goals at the district, campus, and individual level.  By law, it has to be taken at least once a year. It is aligned with 2006-2020, Texas Long Range Plan for Technology. This tool helps districts to measure current levels of proficiency in technology. The STaR Chart also helps out to find out campuses strengths and weaknesses.

Conclusion All students must be guaranteed 21 st  century education to provide them with the tools they need to succeed in a technological era.  Fonville Middle School has increased from Developing Tech Level to the Advanced Tech Level in many areas over the past three years.
