- 2. Biography Mario Testino, born on October 30th 1954 is a Peruvian fashion and portrait photographer. His work has featured internationally in magazines such as Vogue, V Magazine, Vanity Fair and GQ. Alongside his practice as a photographer, Testino has also worked as a creative director, guest editor, museum founder, art collector/collaborator and entrepreneur. Testino is also seen to be a Philanthropist and this sometimes affects his work.
- 3. Image Analysis Here is a portrait image taken by Mario Testino. This image has both the model and what seems to be a Rottweiler roaring for a fashion shoot. The model’s clothing goes with the colour of the dog’s fur as it is a blacked out suit and the dog’s fur is also black. The leading lines for this image are the arms of the two model as they lead to their faces which have been coated in make-up most likely a professional. The lighting for this image is natural, coming from the sky however the day seems to be dull therefore a flash was needed.
