This document contains a test given to students to assess their English learning. It has four sections: listening and circling, matching, counting and completing, and filling in missing letters. The test will be scored based on a set of criteria to determine how effectively the students were taught. Points are assigned to each section, with a total possible score of 10 points. The scores will be used to provide feedback to students on their performance from "Keep Trying!" to "Excellent!".

Assesment Criteria:
This test will be assessed in a summative way because we want to find out how much
our students have learned during our practicum. The result will give us a hint to know
whether the way in which we have been teaching was effective for this group of
students.
To correct the exam, we chose a scoring criteria which is reliable since each exercise
is given a particular amount of points and neither time nor the teacher correcting
(measurement context) will affect the result. It is also valid because it only evaluates
the contents seen in class and it is adapted to their level since it is the first time they
have an English exam. It is also adapted to the length of the lesson, therefore, it is
practical. Finally, even though it is a paper-and-pencil test, it is child-friendly since its
various images make it attractive. Apart from that, we have been working with these
characters and we know they like them.
The final mark will be 10.
• First exercise: 1.50 points (meaning 0.50 each correct answer).
Since we have not focused too much on this type of exercises we are not going
to give it a high score.
• Second exercise: 4 points (meaning 1 point each correct matching).
• Third exercise: 3 points (meaning 1 point each correct number).
• Fourth exercise: 1.50 points (meaning 0.25 each correct letter).
The numbers will serve as a guide to decide the final corrections. They will be:
• Below 5 points: Keep Trying!
• Between 5 and 6.50 points: Good!
• Between 6.50 and 8: Very Good!
• Between 8 and 10 points: Excellent!
