w ill help enough to avoid f rustration but w ill not solve every problem for them.

5. Instructional Strategies/Student Activities 
1. Fold the index card in half , crease and cut 
2. Draw a design w ith a pencil along one side of the card, f rom corner to corner. Then cut. 
3. Slide the cut piece to the opposite side of the card and tape. Make sure not to turn or rotate the cut piece. 
4. Draw another design on one of the straight sides f rom corner to corner and cut. 
5. Slide the cut piece to the opposite side and tape it 
6. Start Brainstorming. Think about your shape like w hen you see clouds. What do you see in your shape? You w ill have to make 
some type of artistic design out of your shape. 
7. Place your shape in the corner of your sheet and trace 
8. Tessellate the shape across the w hole page 
9. Color the patterns created.
