3. The Dream (The Bed), 1940 Frida Kahlo
In this painting, Dream of The
Bed, painted , Frida expressed
her feeling and interception of
death. In real life Frida had a
skeleton on the canopy of her
bed. Her husband, Artist Diego
Rivera, called the skeleton
Frida's lover but Frida said it's
just a amusing reminder of
people's mortality.

6. Georgia O'Keeffe was born on November 15,
1887, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and studied at the
Art Institute of Chicago. Photographer Alfred
Stieglitz gave O'Keefe her first gallery show in
1916 and the couple married in 1924. O'Keeffe
moved to New Mexico after her husband's death
and was inspired by the landscape to create
numerous well-known paintings. Georgia O'Keeffe
died on March 6, 1986.
