 Provided support, advocacy, transitional and resource services to qualifying severely wounded, injured and
ill service members and family. Attended care team meetings, supported Army Command, assisted with VA
care coordination, education and vocational training access. Served as primary point of contact for eligibility
submission and case management post military separation. Guided self-assessments and assisted with
identifying employment goals and implementing strategies for completion. Tracked progress of veteran
population and ensured access to benefits and continued care management. Provided outreach and
informational services to enhance program visibility. Conducted weekly briefings and trainings for soldiers
and families entering medical board process. Coordinated and conducted monthly training for Company
Commander and First Sergeant’s course.

criminal case monitoring and coordination of wraparound services for Domestic Violence/Sexual Assault
survivors. Responded as on-call advocate for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors when police
response was required. Offered emergency transportation, safety planning and crisis intervention as well as
personal and legal advocacy for ongoing safety concerns. Presented case summaries monthly to the
Garrison Sexual Assault Review Board. Served as base liaison for Riley County Domestic Violence Task
Force.
POLICE RESPONSE ADVOCATE COORDINATOR |THE CRISIS CENTER | 11/2005 TO 09-2011
 Coordinated 24 hour on call crisis response and emergency services to domestic violence and sexual
assault victims for 5 counties. Supervised team of on call advocates and was responsible for training,
scheduling and tracking payroll. Provided follow up contacts as well as victim advocacy services to
survivors to include but not limited to legal advocacy, job search assistance, benefits and community
resource education, safety planning and information referral. Served as liaison between The Crisis
Center and Riley County Police Department and coordinated training sessions quarterly with law
enforcement to facilitate dialogue and provide education in crisis response and sensitivity training.
Directed training for bi-yearly Volunteer/Advocate training. Provided community outreach and
collaborated with agencies to ensure wraparound services.
