Provided support, advocacy, transitional and resource services to qualifying severely wounded, injured and
ill service members and family. Attended care team meetings, supported Army Command, assisted with
VA care coordination, education and vocational training access. Served as primary point of contact for
eligibility submissionand case management post military separation. Tracked progress of veteran
population and ensured access to benefits and continued care management.
ADVOCATE | SRI | 03/2012 TO 01-2013
Provided face to face counseling, resource referral, followup contact /case management, criminal case
monitoring and coordination of wraparound services for DV/SA survivors. Responded as on-call advocate
for domestic violence and sexual assault survivors when police response was required. Offered
emergency transportation, safety planning and crisis intervention as well as personal and legal advocacy
