Manager responsible for the supervision and managing of Nielsen Massey’s Purchasing
Department. Duties included the purchasing of all raw materials that include vanilla beans,

purchases are done both domestically and internationally. Focus is given to annual price
negotiations and price reduction. Blanket order contracts are utilized and releases are based off of

include monthly vendor performance and stock status analysis, electronic review and filing of all
COA and receiving documents, and inbound freight quotation and authorization for both domestic
and international shipments (truck line, ocean, and air freight). Supervision responsibilities
include 2 buyers/expeditors. Communication responsibilities include constant interaction between
departments such as production, shipping/receiving, quality, accounts receivables, and accounts
payable. Annual reviews are set up and coordinated for subordinates. Monthly cycle counts and
yearly physical inventories are also managed. SQF safe quality foods quality system is adhered
