Technology has become deeply integrated into the lives of 21st century students and holds potential benefits for education. Students are immersed in technology from a young age and see it very differently than previous generations. When used effectively in the classroom, technology can engage students through visual stimulation, games, social networking, and interactive tools. It allows for new forms of collaboration and accessibility of resources. While budgets are tight, administrators and teachers should continue embracing technology and finding new ways to incorporate it into learning.
