Markets traded with positive bias throughout the day to close in the green. On the daily charts we are witnessing
continuation of a higher top, higher bottom formation and if indices sustain above 17790 - 17793 / 5310- 5330
levels then they are likely to test 18000 – 18120 / 5400 – 5450 levels in couple of trading sessions. Any close
below 17489 / 5200 levels would violate the higher top higher bottom formation and markets would witness
consolidation or a correction to 17300 – 17027 / 5170 – 5080 levels.
We reiterate our view that as the Earnings season begins, stock specific moves are likely to continue in the large
and mid-cap counters. Traders should maintain their trailing stop loss at 17300 / 5170 levels for all long positions.
