Plastic packaging is present everywhere and it will be for a long time .BUT fossil ressources are limited and the fight for global
warning is on : reducing CO2 impact . At ERANOVA we consider that the bioeconomy should be linked to sustainability .We are
using the vaste potential of algae ,a pollutant , to make the new generation of biobased plastics packaging . We applicate the
cascade principle to avoid any possible distortions in the use of biomass from their primary purposes .We make the new generation
of biobased plastics based on non food ingredient .
ERANOVA is collecting and transforming a polluting biomass :Algae bloom .Less costly than the culture of Algaes , sustainable
we make colourless and odorless biodegradable ,compostable or durable bio material to manufacture plastic bags and packaging,

Differentiation
1-Bloom Algae is a massive resource, polluting beaches and sea .It is a major
environmental concerns for cities and states that need constant pickup
2-3 After picking the starch enrichment is done according to a patented process in
large raceways producing 20 times more biomass than current terrestrial plant
4-Extraction of starch is processed by a patented enzymatic cracking technic
producing 13 times more starch than current terrestrial production of corn starch
for example
5-Material is processed into biodegradable or durable bioplastic formulation
improving by 15% the mechanical properties of current bioplastics
A sustainable C02 positive production able to serve various markets :
- Renewable ecological bioplastic for the food ,cosmetic, film industry with
endless application field
- A Biodegradable or compostable bioplastics ( food contact films and bags , trays
..)

• Investment phase for building industrial demonstrator including raceways and extracting unit. 2 hectares
will provide testing material for semi industrial trials
• Laboratory trial of the second generation of Eranova product .
2018
• Investment to Install 10 hectares of raceways including scale up of the industrial extraction unit
• Worldwide patent extension
• Total biomass capacity : 8 000 t, for minimum 2 000 t capacity of bioplastics
2019
• Invest to extend with 20 hectares of raceways
• Total biomass capacity reaches 24 000 t , for minimum 6 000 t capacity of bioplastics
• Sell first license to produce biomass and starch
2020
• Invest in Addition of 10 hectares more of raceways
• Total biomass capacity reach :32 000 T , for minimum 8 000 t capacity of bioplastics
