My educational philosophy begins with ensuring I remain cognizant of the fact that everyone has
a different learning style and that the edification experience is always in a constant state of flux. I
maintain that I will always remain passionate, current and flexible with respects to differentiated
teaching and learning styles in order to better serve my student’s and myself. I will always make
a concerted effort to ensure the edification journey is a positive and enriching one across multi-
cultural and socio-economic platforms. My dedication will remain steadfast for all those I have
the distinct honor of teaching and learning from.
In order to become an inspirational educator I assert I must constantly strive to remain flexible,
motivational, jovial and ensure my pedagogical practices promote critical thinking.
Additionally, I have embraced the following standards and ideologies which support a positive
and enriching learning environment.
HELP ESTABLISH AND SUPPORT PROGRAM GOALS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Educators must collectively seek methods of curriculum and procedural improvement that not
only enhances student learning, but supports administrative procedural policies, rules and
regulations.
PROVIDE A POSITIVE ADULT EDUCATION-LEARNING ENVIRONMENT AND
PROMOTE LIFELONG LEARNING
Ensure the learning environment is cohesive to learning across multi-cultural platforms. We are
entrusted with the responsibility of inspiring our students to recognize their academic
achievements can be an infinite, positive journey.
PLAN, DESIGN, AND DELIVER LERNER-CENTERED INSTRUCTION
Curriculum must be tempered to best serve student learning. The curriculum should be
conducive to an assortment of learning styles. Additionally, the curriculum should provide
students the ability to enhance their higher learning skills and afford them the ability to apply the
concepts being provided.
ASSESS LEARNING AND MONITOR PROGRESS
In order to ensure student success, we must constantly evaluate understanding and provide
positive feedback. Providing positive feedback promotes student confidence enhancing higher
level learning achievement.
IMPLEMENT TECHNOLOGY
Utilizing technology within the curriculum is an alternative strategy that enhances the edification
journey and promotes further understanding across multi-cultural and socio-economic
environments.
MAINTAIN KNOWLEDGE AND PURSUE PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT
We must be cognizant that information is in a constant state of flux. In order to truly be
effective, credible educators we must remain current in our field of study to ensure the
information we are teaching is not antiquated.
