Genre- The genre for the top of the pops would be pop 
music. 
Content- The content of this would consist of young 
pop artists who are in the pop artist industry. This 
would be appropriate as they are aimed the target 
audience of the magazine (preteens). 
Target audience- The target audience for this 
magazine is preteens between 12-15 years old. This 
would be the audience for this magazine as they can 
relate to the celebrities and stories shown in it. 
Publishers- The publishers of top of the pops is the 
BBC. 
Rolling stones magazine 
Genre- The genre of the rolling stones is popular music. 
Content- The content consists of music movie reviews, 
updates on music artists, entertainment and political 
views. 
Target audience- The target audience for this magazine is 
men aged 18-24 years old. 
Publishers- The publishers of the rolling stones is wenner 
media LLC.
Billboard magazine 
Genre- The genre of the billboard magazine is 
popular music as it consists of popular artists. 
Content- consists of its own chart list, updates 
on music artists, entertainment and political 
views. 
Target audience- The target audience for 
billboard magazine varies from young teens, 
from the age of 16, to young adults at the age 
of 26.
