Evaluation
How useful was your research into
publishing, and real digitally published
products?
For my research I researched different topics that people my
age would enjoy.
I chose:
•Photography
•Fashion
•Make-up
I chose these topics because a lot of girls my age and older
can relate to make-up and looking natural. I decided to create a
web journal magazine, this is because a lot of pictures can be
used
My Pitch
Before I made my pitch I planned out
what I was going to
How successful was the drafting and
re-drafting of the written pieces?
They way that I types up my written article was that I
typed my first article on work then checked if it was
good enough to go on my design, then for my other
two articles I wrote something similar but based of a
different audience.
Evaluate the pre-production portfolio- did
that help you organise time, models,
resources?
Before starting my article I had to do some
planning and research before I started, The type of
planning I had to do was:
•Contact Sheet
•Call Sheet
•Risk Assessment
•Some research on legal rights for PPC
The way I organised my time was that in one day I
could do my models make-up and take pictures of
the outcome and while doing that I could take
pictures of the make-up products at the same time
so it can save time.
How well did you store your written material?
For my written material I had my own ideas and typed it
up. In my magazine article I wrote in quotes that I got
from other people’s opinion about make-up. I did this by
interviewing the person through my phone then screen
grabbing it for proof.
Feedback
The feedback that I got after presenting my
pitch was not so negative than I thought it
would be. I got feedback such as:
Making sure that it is based on my target
audience
I should explain why this topic is so
important
And many more. The changes that I made
in my magazine was not much, I only
changed the format / template of my
magazine which is a little bit different from
the one I had in my pitch.
