The TANGO project involves Atos, Bull, Deltatec, the University of Leeds, CETIC, and the Barcelona Supercomputing Center working to simplify how developers approach next-generation applications and heterogeneous hardware including clusters, chips, and programmable logic devices. The project aims to optimize energy and performance, enable fast prototyping through software emulation and hardware-in-the-loop, monitor underlying infrastructures, define self-adaptation behaviors at runtime, and specify critical and non-critical quality behaviors for applications.
